Re: Question on Using Rewire in Mixcraft 8 Pro
This may be my last comments on Rewire with Mixcraft 8 pro. Didn't mention I am on a PC windows 10 system. Played around with Rewire a little more last night and works to the most part as mentioned in my 2 replies with a few minor changes. I did the Rewire for just setting up MIDI tracks in Mixcraft...

Re: Question on Using Rewire in Mixcraft 8 Pro
After watching a youtube video with a person doing a rewire of FL Studio to Mixcraft, After I do my initial steps in my first reply, I think I need to do the following. 6. That arm I turned on is just turning on the rewire enable for Ableton communications which shows up at the bottom of all my trac...

Re: Question on Using Rewire in Mixcraft 8 Pro
Added info: Seems the only other DAW I can rewire to Mixcraft 8 Pro is my Ableton Live 9. Only other thing that shows up in the list is Melodyne. Initial steps I have done/tried is as follows: 1. Bring up Mixcraft 8 Pro. 2. Set initial default tracks I always do in Mixcraft. 3. go into menus and fin...

Question on Using Rewire in Mixcraft 8 Pro
Hello, Trying to learn how to setup my DAW's to learn how rewire works. I have several DAW's all setup for 64 bit operation. I have searched this forum and found out that I can only rewire certain other DAW's to Mixcraft 8 pro, not the other way, Is this still true? Will Mixcraft in the future be ab...

Mixcraft 8 and Maschine 2-What kind of power do i have using both question
Hello, I am new with Maschine Studio and Maschine 2 software so everything i do with it right now is completely new to me. But, I just recently purchased Maschine Studio and have the latest Maschine 2 software and opened up Maxcraft 8 Pro. Selected Maschine Pro and brought it up just to see what it ...

Re: MC 7 to MC8 Recomendations
Thanks banzailoco,
interesting, i will have to try that sometime just to see what happens. Dont think Acoustica designed for doing that and might fight over using same resources or not work at all. Or it may surprise me and both work.
take care,
Dave

Re: MC 7 to MC8 Recomendations
To banzailoco, Questioning your comment on " you can run Mixcraft 7 and 8 at the same time". Do you mean that literaly that you can brin up and run both at the same time. i have never tried that, if so. or Do you mean you can keep both on the computer and run either version 7 or version 8?...

Re: setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
Mark, I watched the University video on midi editing in piano view. I see what I was doing wrong with your method. After selecting the group of notes, i need to click and hold on any of the notes in that group and then move them, not the blue highlight box itself. Knew it was something simple, ignor...

Re: setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
To Mark, May I ask one last question on your last comment on your method. Before I posted my last comment, I did what you said using the arrow select and then I got a light blue box around several selected notes on the piano view and I released the mouse. But then what do I do next to move that grou...

Re: setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
mick and Mark,
So Mixcraft can move entire drum parts around by selecting the drum key. Cool

thanks guys,
Dave

Re: setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
Mark or anyone, Not sure how to do the lasso method when in the piano roll screen. I see the select arrow, the write pencil, and the erraser. When I try to select a group of notes with the select arrow and try to move all of them up or down, they dont move. So not sure how to do that method. Dont re...

Re: setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
Hi Chibear, On the Midi editing, yes I know you can move single notes around. What I have seen in another DAW is they selected on all the notes just for a Hi Hat in that track and moved or dragged that whole row of notes for the track up or down to a new selected drum sound. I dont think I could do ...

setting up VSTs with multiple outputs- and editing drum parts
Hello, Have just a couple of questions on the topics mentioned. I have seen both of these done in 1 or 2 different DAW videos and wondering if Mixcraft 8 can do these or maybe add to a future Mixcraft. Multi VST midi channel Auto Setup: Single VSTs with built in multiple instrument output channels -...
