Re: GSnap Pitch Correction MC8: question.
Many thanks, sometimes the GS helps & sometimes it makes me sound worse, so I leave it alone in that case! It's nice to have around as a sort of 'second opinion'.

Re: GSnap Pitch Correction MC8: question.
Hi, This is an old free plugin. I don't think it has changed since Mixcraft 5. You might check the version on the maker's web page: https://www.gvst.co.uk/gsnap.htm Greg Thanks Greg. Wow, I thought MC8 Pro had a turbo edition of GSnap Pitch Correction on board? :-o The manual says users can add not...

Re: Pitch correction?
Thanks, I see the G-Snap corrector in Mixcraft 8 but not Melodyne. Where would I find this please? The buy-code I was sent was for Mixcraft 8, I bought it for pitch correction. Good morning, Did you register (free) Melodyne after you installed it? It will appear in the list as VST3, it is also inte...

Re: Wot No ASIO Help!
I'm not as logical or methodical as you Mark, so I frequently get in a muddle. Plus I run several 'heritage' pc's with various models of Mixcraft on them, which probably compounds my software confusion at times. I still maintain Mixcraft is the best, I haven't found anything else which comes near to...

There's no equivalent to cans, I freely admit.

GSnap Pitch Correction MC8: question.
Just experimented with the GSnap Pitch Correction in MC8 - much better than a version I was playing with in MC5. Or maybe my singing was just abysmal in front of the MC5 pc  Why is there no Blues Scale to choose from in the GSnap Pitch Correction application, please? Basically the Dorian Scale ...

Better drums?
Hi, Season's greetings to all at Acoustica Forums! ;) Upgraded from a Yamaha DD65 unit to a full Digital Drums 400 Compact Electronic Drum Kit by Gear4music, it's much more comfortable to use but the sound quality of the kit I find inferior to the relatively tiny DD65. I route the electronic drums o...

Re: More than two inputs?
Sure looks good to me. Took a look at their site. They seem to have some "interesting" (psychedelic???) guitar pedals!!! LOL!!! Regards, Dale. <3 pedals! ;) Can't do (studio) swells through an amp though - too noisy, I plug direct to the interface for that. This is the pedal I mostly use ...

Re: More than two inputs?
Thanks, Am wary of taking further steps while everything is more or less working okay. This is the drawback with digital technology it is 'fractal' not absolute like analogue gear, but analogue gear has to be serviced by engineers and that stratum no longer exists on the High Street. Before I look a...

Re: More than two inputs?
Thanks. I've got 2 M-Tracks on 2 pc's, Win10 DAW and Win7 'rough ideas' pc. The Win7 always powers up like that, after 30 seconds the M-Track lights go out (= no sound card) then I unplug & replug it, then all is fine. The Win10 only started 'not seeing' recording input a couple of months ago, s...

Re: More than two inputs?
Thanks Dale, My idea was to use an ambient pedal board then switch to a non-ambient board - on the fly - in the same song, using an A/B box. I lose a lot of ambience by having the left & rights from that board channelled into a single stereo channel, so you can see where multiple inputs start to...

Re: More than two inputs?
Many seem very happy with the Behringer UMC404HD and M-Audio has a new product called the M-Track 8X4M. All of the aforementioned have enough inputs (four at least). Thanks Dale - I'd go for the 8x4M because M-Track is a known quantity to me. I've also realised I can patch four jacks to my mixer bu...

Re: More than two inputs?
Thanks, 'new' devices pop up & disappear like mushrooms these days :-o What are my practicable options here please? The theoretical set-up is:- a guitar going through a stereo pedal board with 2 outs - to Left and Right - connected by an A/B channel switcher to a second board with a mono/stereo ...
