Re: VST/VSTi windows
Ooooohhhhhh! How did you get the vst to be transparant?!?!?!?!? That's definitely helpful! There are a lot of programs that add transparency, but i found that not all of them work for the vst style windows. Many of these programs are made for Windows Vista or before. I tested a few of those, but ev...

One Acoustica Chorus rolled up, one Acoustica Chorus transparent, one Alpha Sampler minimized to system tray.

Re: Samasara Cycle Audio Free Plugins
Suppose you mean the model 27? Doesn't work. You must have set it to OFF btw; if it's ON, it mutes the entire track.

Re: VST/VSTi windows
Yeah, you're not the only one!
Best practise (and it's just 'best' by lack of other options) is to drag a vst down, or to the side. If you have a second monitor, you can drag them there, too.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I still think it leads to problems. You'd have to give every send track a different color.
Would it work with the labels having the color linked? Tracks can still be any color, but the labels have a color independant of that track color, and those label colors are then linked.

Re: Quantize?
What about if I then change the french horn strength, say to 80 %, and the note type to 1/64, and hit okay... will it set the french horn strength to 80 % (and note type to 1/64) AND also keep the original harp strength at 90 % (and note type to 1/32)??? Yes. The only notes that are adjusted are th...
Re: Quantize?
Nothing is changed until you actually hit OK. That window just remembers the last settings you made. So you can make as much changes for each instrument you want. If you set 'strenght' to 90% for one instrument and hit OK, next time you open that window it will have remembered that 90%, but it will ...

Not random noise. Random notes.
However, that tip is awesome. Automation by cat.

Recording automation in a loop
See attached project: overwriting automation.zip Edit: seems i forgot to clearly describe the problem... The problem is that when you're recording automation while looping, part of the automation doesn't register anymore once the loop jumps back to its beginning. Not all automation: at least ...

The same problem arises. What color should it be if a track uses more than one send track?Brian S wrote:So if the send track is dark blue, the knob that sends to it is also dark blue.

Re: Midi Madness - Any Idea on how to get it to work in MixCraft?
So, i still don't fully understand what's going on here. For some reason sending CC 28 to a vsti with a keyboard/using automation, is different from sending CC 28 to a vsti with that CC 28 coming from inside a clip. It would make sense to me if these are treated the same way: it shouldn't matter (ac...

disappearing parameters (automation) | overwriting automation
Sometimes automation parameters disappear. This happened with build 289, but also in 292 (to which i updated immediately after discovering it). I haven't tried it with 64-bits, so this is all with MC7.5/build 292/32-bits. In the screenshot below, there's a "cutoff frequency" parameter: dis...
