Re: Kudos to Mixcraft !

@Ian Craig
I listened to the video. You managed to remove a lot of the resonance stuff in it. Thank you very much!

Re: Kudos to Mixcraft !

Thanks for that video Ian! I will give it a serious listen tomorrow. Greg, I would say Mixcraft is heavily weighted towards video as compared to similar programs. Ableton only loads .mov files and doesn't seem to have any editing capability or very little. Cakewalk loads files for audio work but is ...

Kudos to Mixcraft !

I am relatively new to recording video live. It's really been almost like a maze to me so far working around all of the different formats trying to determine what works best for online videos. I wanted to share a few of my experiences which I think really shed a mighty positive light on Mixcraft 8 a...

Re: USB Interface Recommendations

The fact that this includes Amplitube Deluxe is big. IK is on a roll this year. I think this will give them a real marketing edge for electric guitarists and hopefully give a bunch of guitarists a lot more capability. Not sure if this will include all of the Paks. I once fancied myself a guitarist a...

Re: Modernize the user interface

Any of those here who are graphics savvy can find the graphics storage for Mixcraft and create custom looks for the program there using a graphics design program. This is only for someone who knows how to do it. I've seen it done in multiple DAWs and not usually by the DAW company. Anyone with this ...

Re: Does Mixcraft Have Audio To Midi conversion?

I don't blame you. You might want to investigate the Melodyne forum. It seems like the issue is a timing issue with relation to Melodyne integration into Mixcraft. ARA just underwent a revision or update. That probably doesn't cover your issue with version 3 but it might somehow be affecting it. I o...

Re: Does Mixcraft Have Audio To Midi conversion?

I found several plugins that do this online. Most are priced right up there with Melodyne which does a lot more. If it were me I would probably upgrade the included Melodyne. I did find this. https://www.widisoft.com/english/widi-a ... i-vst.html I know absolutely nothing about it. Appears to make a...

Re: Live Playing

Hi Chuck, That's a very cool new midi instrument! If playing smaller gigs you could likely use an acoustic guitar amp. They often have built in reverb. Larger gigs and then things begin to get more complicated. I once used one of those suitcase PA systems. They are nice for this because everything i...

Re: Live Playing

Chuck I need some info first. What you planning to do and with what?

Mixcraft makes a nice backup band of you choose to do that.

Re: USB Interface Recommendations

Thanks Dpatterson for that info. The volume pot in My old Presonus Firetube studio just died and I'm now using my backup interface, the Focusrite 18i8. I will likely want to add another set of monitors to this setup in the near furure. Like you, I can't understand why they couldn't have added one mo...

Re: MIDI controllers (keyboards)

I'm sorry Mixcraft isn't my main DAW and I don't get around these parts often as I would like. Are you strictly working ITB? If so, internal sounds are not as important. My main controller is a Casio PX-5S 88 keys which is both a midi controller and a synthesizer. That keyboard was a hit because it ...

Re: I Won't Give Up

Great mix!

Seems to sound a bit like a midi guitar product. Either that, or it's been edited very well. The reason I say this is because it's almost too tight timing wise to sound like a real guitarist. Nicely done!
