Re: Any way to record the output of a Send track?
Hello, Haven't tried this but it seems it would work in theory: Create an output bus track. Have the Send track output routed to the output bus track. Choose a playback source on the bus track. If your audio interface allows a loopback, then create a separate audio track that records from that loop...

Re: Vocal "Tonal Quality"
Am using Mixcraft Pro Studio 9, strictly as a rank amateur. Four of us who had a folk group in college are trying to record a song for a reunion. We are recording in four separate cities, each using different mics and different DAWs. Exchanging files has been a cinch, and they have been pulled into...

Re: Converting Midi to audio?
This thread is pretty old, so I am hoping that Mixcraft has been updated enough to do what I am hoping to do. Is there a way to "print" or record a MIDI track into an audio track right within a Mixcraft project? I know that I can Mix Down To... mp3, wav, whatever. but that means sending t...

Re: Dumb Question - from someone who should know better
Not sure that this applies, but the beat reference in Mixcraft is quarter note only, so if you have a song that's in 6/8 or something like that, the tempo will be way off, because it is customary to use a dotted quarter note in that situation: ONE two three FOUR five six. Whereas with Mixcraft it's...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
In honor of the rumblings about MC 10, here's my first of the allotted three suggestions: 1. A totally integrated and customizable hardware mapping system including: a. As many protocols as possible including MIDI note, CC, MMC , program change, and SysEx, Mackie, NRPN, PRN, etc... b. Scenes, layer...

Re: Need some more info before trying Mixcraft
Thanks for the suggestions. Was playing around with the demo today. Off the bat I notice the mixer channels don’t display the gain output. For example, if I’m clipping - I like to see how much I’m clipping by. Same applies if I’m not clipping - I like to know the exact levels of each channel. I’m a...

RE: Chord Tool
Display MIDI chords during playback. We've been begging for a chord tool for years. Hopefully it comes in version 10. In the meantime, Studio One Professional Version 5 has just what you're looking for. It reads audio's chords via ARA from Melodyne and displays chords at the top. Check it out. In M...

Re: Melodyne question from a beginner
Can you isolate just the harmonica part using Melodyne? I have Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio Here is the link I'm trying to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7Gk-waVi8 You can try splitting the harmonica from the song with Spleeter. It's free but no longer being developed. https://makenweb.com/#spleeter...

Re: Copying tracks/combining 2 projects?
I saw an old thread from a decade ago, discussing how to combine projects or to copy/paste tracks/instruments between projects. The advice they gave does that, but not quite. My situation is this : due to my own incessant tweaking and testing, I've ended up with two completely different projects fo...

Re: Alpha Sampler help pitch change?
Hi guys, give it to me straight. I'd love to be able to use the alpha sampler for a sample that consists of e.g. a loop, set its base note then use the keyboard to play it a different pitches WITHOUT it changing the tempo. Is that in any way possible? I don't understand how it could be any use what...

Re: Dry Track / Send Effect to Different Channel
I tried searching but only found how to add Send Tracks and do a Reverse Reverb effect. Not sure how to search for what I want to do. Could someone please tell me what to search for, point me to a previous thread or possibly explain to me how to do what I am trying to do? Say I have a dry track, vo...
