Hi, First, make sure you've got version 2.5 build 48, because changes were made in recent updates to reduce latency. The latest version of Mixcraft is here . Next, give your computer a fresh restart if you haven't shut and down and restarted lately. Close any unnecessary background programs while yo...

Hi, You might be in IMAPI mode. In MP3 CD Burner, click on the File menu, select Preferences and, in the CD/DVD Burner preferences, turn off the "Use IMAPI" option. On the drives I've tested, CD-Text does work in generic mode. Not all drives support CD-Text, but I'm guessing a Sony drive would. Greg

Hi, Acoustica MP3 CD Burner just creates standard audio CDs, so there is no setting you could change that would make it more compatible with your PC. Are you able to play commercial audio CDs in your PC? Have you tried lately? Have you tried just shutting down and restarting your computer? What prog...

Hi,

This is a common problem with CD-RW discs. Try switching to CD-R discs for better compatibility with more players.

Hi,

Well, quality is the key word here. You can always try lowering the quality settings in Audio Converter Pro to get a smaller file size, rather than leaving it at its default setting.

We don't have any plans right now to add further WMA options, but thanks for the suggestion!

And yes Greg, I'm one of those slow-to-adopt. I'm still running the previous version. Memory though was not a problem, as I still had plenty of memory remaining. I just ran out of CPU horsepower.
Version 2.5 build 48 should help with that.

Hi, I don't know offhand of any labels that guarantee that. If you're really concerned about labels being compatible with players, you might consider getting a printer that can print directly on printable full-faced DVDs. Here's a list of all the label paper we support and, at the bottom of the list...

Hi,

Maybe it's already registered. If the software is not registered, it will pop up a "free trial' screen every time you run it. If you see that screen, just click on the Enter Code button. If you're not seeing that screen, you must already be registered.

Make sure you've got the latest version (2.5 build 48), because the memory footprint of the program was lowered as of build 46.

Hi,

How would you use the time indicator? I mean, any time indication would be approximate, it wouldn't necessarily match the track times on the LP or cassette, because it might take additional time for the first song to start due to tape leader or for the needle to reach the first track.

Hi, There are two possible problems with using a microphone jack: 1. Most of them are mono, not stereo. 2. Mic jacks are amplified so that there may be too much gain. You can end up with lots of distortion. Generally, you'll get better results and have more flexibility using a line-level input (Line...
