I own many of the current (v4) TB plugins, so don't use the MC-bundled ones. My understanding is that the MC-ones are a previous version (v3?) from TB.
In any case, TB-plugs are excellent, current version or not.

Re: Playback issues with Mixcraft 9
... Other tracks don't seem to have this problem so I wonder if it could be something to do with the track...corrupt? and if so, is there a way of fixing it? Two possibilities: 1) Some background task is starting at a time coinciding with bar 29 and causing glitches, or 2) A corrupt track (IMO, the...
Re: Midi Lag
Also, newer PCs are almost exclusively USB3 ports, and depending on the chipset on the hub, may not be 100% backwards compatible with older USB2 devices.
If your audio interface has MIDI IN/OUT ports, use those connections to your keyboard instead of USB.

Re: Is it possible to go back to previous OS build in MixCraft?
... I’m trying to isolate an issue I’m having with a VST, and want to see if the previous OS fixes it. Do you really mean previous O.S. (like Windows 7/8 instead of Win 10)? Or previous build of Mixcraft ? Both are possible; but the former would require wiping your hard drive and installing Win 7/8...

Make sure you've downloaded/installed the latest drivers for your interface from Tascam. After the install, reboot your system.

If you haven't already, press CTL-ALT-DEL - click Task Manager - Startup tab. You will see a list of all tasks running at startup.
Disable every task you don't recognize (Be aggressive. None of these are system-critical, and can be easily re-enabled). Restart your system.

Re: Using my Roland AX-7 keytar as a midi controller
Some things to look at: - Ensure you have the latest firmware/software/drivers for the keyboard installed. - Use AC power for the keytar. Especially important if you're on a laptop. - I'm assuming the UR22Mk2 and keytar are both connected to PC via USB-cable. If you are using USB3 (blue inner strip)...

Re: MC8 forcing me to use wrong tempo [solved]
Okay, I checked the speed of the loop again by metronome without dragging it into a DAW...
It checks out at 105 bpm!
But then after dragging it into either Mixcraft or Cakewalk, it play back at 120 bpm.
So yeah, looks like there's something odd with the clip.

Re: MC8 forcing me to use wrong tempo
Have you audibly checked the beats against a metronome? I did, and it comes out to about 118 bpm. Not perfect, but rounding up, that's 120.
Add to that two different DAWs say the clip is 120 bpm. I don't know what else to say...

I dragged it into MC8 and Cakewalk. Both times it shows 120bpm.
