Re: Mixcraft still the easiest learning curve!

I think the implication here that Mixcraft is easy. Easier than brand ** might be a better description. It is plenty deep and to get to that depth you need to RTM. Maybe not as deep as some of the others. When I say this I am referring to functions mostly not used my the most common user. Deep midi e...

Re: Latency

This works if playing hardware into efx. Using direct monitoring through the interface eliminates most of the issues. Not so well playing vst instruments. If your latency is still high after you've done all you can with your computer/interface and drivers there are still work arounds. One work aroun...

Re: Searching For The Perfect Piano

One other thing that has helped me is using Gregg Wells piano plugin by Waves. I can't see what's happening under the hood but I suspect it pans the L/R and balances things a bit. It adds some special sauce to the mix.

Thanks for getting the word out. I am very happy with Mixcraft!

Re: Not Another Free Plugin Thread

Probably the best way to get started in sound libraries that is to pick up Kontakt player from Native Instruments. They have a limited free player that will give you a taste of what the better sample libraries have to offer. here's that link- https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/s...

Re: Melodyne v Waves Tune

There are a few side issues regarding this choice as well. One of those is that Waves plugins require a periodic "Waves Upgrade Plan" Called WUP for short. So while you can buy the plugin for 29.00 now you will , at some point in the future be asked to pay WUP. I think my WUP isn't due unt...

My Confession

I am a long time user of another daw that was at one time possibly going to go out of business. During that time several daw companies frequented that daw website to offer their software as an alternative. MIxcraft was one of the offerings made. I must confess I was tough in my critique of Mixcraft ...
