Re: How Important Is Memory?
Hi, I kinda feel 16 gigs is a minimum today in a windows environment. On a fairly low spec computer I have 16 gigs, and I just get by. Partly because of the cpu itself but the memory gets taxed pretty quickly. There are things beyond the program at hand you have to think about with windows memory ma...

Re: Separate a single drumtrack into different tracks
Hello, I don't know what the chain of events were or the VSTs used that led up to a one click separation of drum parts with Studio 1. You don't say if it's MIDI or recorded audio. I'll say this very generally: In Mixcraft a single MIDI file drum track can be split out but it takes some work. Since g...

Re: opening MC9 project in MC10.1
Hello, I believe to have the output show, you need to have at least 1 output bus track in the project. That is regardless of a MC 10 project or loaded MC 9 project into MC 10. The top screenshot has no output bus. The bottom screenshot had one added and then the option appears on the mixer. MC 10 no...

Re: USB Audio input not working correctly
It could be something as simple as a bad USB cable. If the connection seems intermittent, that could be loose internal wires in the cable or some thing shorting. If your PC crashed and you aren't trying to overclock it or undervolt it, it could be a bad hardware/cable connection. Also if your USB au...

Re: Are multiple buffer settings possible?
Hello, While the below doesn't address multiple buffers, it does talk about addressing a possible cause for latency. But before going in this direction, make sure all of your drivers are up to date. Windows, realtek, and you audio interface. Windows 11 has a lot of complexities in its attempts to ma...

Re: Recording multioutput tracks individually
Yes. The description above is a little more complex than what I describe below; but similar. For multiple individual tracks NOT under the same multi-vst, set the input source for each track to the same source, but assign a specific MIDI channel to each track as you arm it. Since you can arm multiple...

Re: Micraft 9 Studio vs Mixcraft 10 Pro
Hi,
Looking at the screenshots there seems to be two GPUs. I'm guessing one is built in graphics on the motherboard. It could be that the bios isn't set to only focus on your dedicated GPU. Don't know why that would affect 1 mixcraft version and not the other - but maybe something to check.

Re: Midi CC to Midi note properties
You can also create a custom drum map. For example, I created "My MIDI Map" based on C4 being midi note 60. My MIDI Map.TXT You can place this file in %programdata%\Acoustica\Mixcraft\drum-maps . Restart mixcraft, add a MIDI clip, then in the sound section, choose My MIDI Map from the drop...

Re: External Gear Midi Sequencing question.
It sounds like MIDI feedback. Your input and outputs are set to the same device and channels. If you are using something like the integra, you are using that as a playback device - so I would guess you are using your hardware in general for playback. You say lanes so I'm guessing you recording multi...

Re: Midi pad mapping with acoustica drums
Hi, I think because the standard kit in Mixcraft is bound to the GM drum standard, then the notes are premapped to certain MIDI keys. http://michael-burman.de/drummap.htm If your 4x4 pad can be programmed to have a pad be a specific MIDI note or default to a chromatic pattern, then it should be a qu...
