Re: Recording at a slower speed without changing pitch
Hi Bill I have done this on odd occasions with the external audio editor I have used since it's inception, http://www.goldwave.ca/ . Goldwave has a time stretch effect they call Time Warp which is very easy to use & has a selection of presets for various speeds & pitch. In Time Warp I take t...

Re: Feedback on iZotope Neutron and Ozone7
Hi Geddy
There is an earlier thread here with the same question http://forums.acoustica.com/bbs/viewtop ... on#p104331
I use both and so far no issues.

Re: My newest song on SoundCloud..Enjoy!
I'm with Kenrob, not enough emphasis on the vocal. For my way of thinking a parody is about the lyric which needs to be more in your face and words telling the story being easily understood.
Some good work on the music though.

Not exactly knowledgeable in this field or even sure if this will help but you could look at the University of York music technology dept. They are experts - so a friend who studied there tells me.

Re: Old Farts Club
I've had an interest in recording since getting a twin track stereo reel to reel for a birthday in 1963. Still have the same machine, and several other machines. I also still have every tape recorded, and there are many, until I gave up reel to reel in the 80''s and restarted in the digital age in t...

Re: Not a Valid VST
Looking through the list most do seem to be related to Ozone, Neutron and various other Izotope plugins. I guess along the line I've cocked up some folders.
Thank you gentlemen.

Re: Not a Valid VST
Thanks Mark but they are valid VSTs. I tried removing iZnectar2.dll from the folder but when reopening Mixcraft it gave an error the plugin could not load due to missing part, or words to that effect. As I said there are a lot in the log with that error (code1) and they are all legit VST dll which a...

Not a Valid VST
Could any one with far greater knowledge than mine possibly give me explanation as to the following showing in the Log file. (Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (390) "VST: B:\vstx64\iZNectar2.dll" "This is not a VST (Code 1)" "This is not a valid VST" In the above example it applie...

I tend to agree. She has an unimpressed & uninterested look rather than the glint and glee in her eyes at finding the best DAW around.

Re: iZotope Neutron For Mixing Synths?
I bought the, almost, giveaway bundle when Neutron was first introduced which included not only Neutron and Ozone 7 but several other packs, including vocal synth. I find Neutron to be extremely useful in setting up a starting point. Certainly the track assist shows up where frequency's are covering...

Mixer resize
Just noticed this glitch in MiXcraft 8 Pro. Build 380. Not sure if this has been reported or if this happens to anyone else. When resizing the mixer, (whilst docked), the Track names go blank in a particular spot whilst resizing up and down. Video below. http://agent2000.co.uk/Mixer-Resize.mp4 Not c...
