Re: Direct Show & K-lite Codec pack
These are 4k videos from my Nikon cameras (3500, 5100, 5200). I had to render each .MOV file down initially in Mixcraft to an MP4 that I could watch through the preview window. The MP4 I rendered are all 60 fps. The original .MOV were all different fps I am noticing. I am on a Motile laptop, Window...

Re: 2 questions: FX MIDI note filtering, and instrument signal band splitting
Did you try DUBSHOX H8 that comes with Mixcraft? It doesn't output to three tracks but distinctly distorts 3 bands. For filtering notes, this is theory as i haven't tried it, but you could set a specific MIDI controller - maybe one that's not used to affect the sound of the note - and assign that c...

Out of curiosity, what are your computer specs?Buda Bless wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 7:05 am How long should I stare at a 0% render? few minutes? an hour?
What is the quality of the videos you are trying to edit? Is it 4K? 60fps?
What format are the videos you are working with?

Re: Mixing orchestral and jazz pieces from Musescore
I had the chance to use multiple DAWs, and while each has their strengths and weakneses, any of them could be used to compose any type of music. The DAW is rarely what's going to limit your end result, it's how well you use your tools that's going to have the most effect. There are DAWs that are mor...

Re: Mixing orchestral and jazz pieces from Musescore
Are you asking if you can make VST instruments sound realistic? Well, that depends on the quality of the plugins you are using, and depends on how good of a job you did when you programmed the notation and articulations of the instruments. With the right tools and skills you can most definitely make...

2 questions: FX MIDI note filtering, and instrument signal band splitting
Hi all, 1) I have this plugin called fr33some that i used to use in FL Studio, what it does is it separates the signal to 3 adjustable frequency bands (it has 1 stereo input, and 3 stereo outputs), so you can use it if for example you want to apply different types of distortion to different bands (c...

Re: 3rd Party plug-ins & hardware
Perhaps...Mixcraft definitely flies under the radar of many, and could use better marketing and exposure. The problem is that many are stuck in the past and think Mixcraft is an amateur-ish looking, basic-featured software because of what they remember from the first versions of Mixcraft, and newer ...

Re: Sequencer VSTs playing at 1/4 speed
How about virtual midi cable like LoopBe1? Give it a try and see if that works. Arpegiator/sequencer plugins are known to be finicky in Mixcraft, and i saw suggestions in the past to use the virtual midi to get it to working right. It's a workaround but i think Acoustica is well aware of it and hope...

Re: Having severe latency issues that seem unsolveable
Hi all, I've been working on an album for about a month now and for some reason I've been having really, really severe latency/lag issues. I've updated my drivers, reinstalled/tried to update Mixcraft 8.1, tweaked about every setting in preferences, and nothing seems to work. I can't even playback ...

Re: Assigning different devices to different drivers
You can only use one audio driver at a time inside Mixcraft, so your only solution is to connect your headphones to your Tascam, which actually seems like the logical thing to do in the first place.
Re: Metronome
Try to press "M" and "Shift+M" while your track is playing, see if it has any effect.
And i also suggest making sure you haven't recorded the metronome by mistake, been there

Re: (Blade Runner) Any Voltage Mod experts out there? Preset sharing?
ok, Here's my first stab at some of the ending sequence. Everything is available within Mixcraft including the Cherry Audio stuff which comes with Mixcraft as a separate download. The key to making it sound "awright" is layering the instruments in Mixcraft like I did and adding some prett...

Re: Can I Use Aturia's Analog Lab in Mixcraft 9 Pro?
I don't own any i these, but i know that Analog Lab is a plugin that was designed to work with that keyboard, just try to load the plugin in Mixcraft and see how it goes, shouldn't be a problem to load it since it's just a VST. And i suggest reading the manual, i just looked at it out of curiosity a...
