MC8 mixskin.ini file entries
Just poking around in the mixskin.ini file and find some oddities regarding entries. Most of them are organized under categorical headings which makes sense. But some seem to be scattered about where they don't belong. Some appear to be left over from older versions and don't apply to v8. Some shoul...

Re: MARKERS LIST TABS
Thanks Greg but that's not what I see happening. The very top tab labeled "Markers" is gray. Hover the mouse and it turns lighter. Click it and it turns darker, but nothing happens as far as I can see.

MARKERS LIST TABS
In MC8 what's the idea for making the Markers view main title tab turn different shades of gray when clicking it?
The mixskin.ini calls the tab files "tab-unselect". But nothing happens. Right?!

Re: Piano Roll Timeline Out of Sync
Thanks, I figured as much. It's a bit confusing when I'm using the main window to reference where I am while editing in the Editor.

Re: Crossgrade approval delay?
Windows 10 1709 wants to block everything it seems. Always good to check your email's Junk/Spam folder too.

Re: Piano Roll Timeline Out of Sync
My post was a little misleading. What's happening is the MIDI clips in question don't start at measure 1. One starts at measure 9, but in the Edit window it shows the beginning of the clip at measure 1, which is out of sync with the main timeline, which is confusing to me. In other words, the Edit w...

Re: Themes/Skins? possible?
Mixcraft is already set up to accommodate different skins with their own folder and ini files. A very bit tedious but doable so you can have multiple themes without altering the original one. Just follow the format used with the "Light" theme. There's even some sparse instructional info at...

Piano Roll Timeline Out of Sync
Just started using MC8 and noticed the Edit window timelines are way out of sync with the main timeline. All start at 0 but by measure 65 the Wave Editor is at 63, and the PRV/Step Seq. is at 57. Will this be fixed?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi, I found that colors and graphics can be changed and even swapped (color for graphic) by editing the skin file. In fact, I'd like to see... 1. ALL screen fonts editable (color, size and typeface). Currently some are not. 2. A color menu in Preferences for the many colors in mixskin.ini. Maybe few...

Re: Mixer/Mixing Console
I'm surprised you don't have a themes forum. Hi, I'm new to Mixcraft but it looks like this should be very easy to do. When I demoed v8 I noticed all the GUI files are available in the mixrez folder, so anyone can repaint the graphic files if you know how to use Photoshop. You can also tweak the mix...
