Hi Hank
I'm sure that Greg or Eric will get back to you, It's being analyzed, I guess.
If you want to fix having to stop between records or tapes you will need more
RAM. You need at least 2 gigs, if you don't scan album covers. I use 4 gigs because I do.

Hi It would be an equipment problem, not a SIA problem. The Quick easy test is to Switch your Red and [Black or White] cables [at the closest point to the Computer] and see if the other channel now has the low volume. Make sure that all plugs are snug, particularly at the computer input. I just tras...

Hi Bob The short answer is No. However, I use a lot of different methods to get a clean copy. If it is a single, you can deep clean the record. I use a soft toothbrush and Isopropanol 99% Alcohol but you can use clear water to deep clean. If it is an Album, I continue to record the Album. I then go ...

Hi Two things to consider when choosing WAV over MP3 is file size and tagging. WAV files are 3 or 4 times larger and the tagging on the MP3 files is correct for most usages whereas WAV files are not. If you use iTunes on your computer look in your iTunes LIbrary where you will see what I mean. Your ...

Hi Take a deep breath and Relax. We've all been through it. Looking up and /or Filling in the track information is a given for me. Next, is to tell SIA to split the tracks, after you have rendered?? your LP. Now click stop. Before you do anything more click your mouse on the top bar close to the sta...

Hi I'm glad that you have got your equipment going. If you look at the messages in the problem above; Eric shows a computer wave and volume panel in one of thos messages. You should have a button on your bottom task bar that will indicate that it is it; if you move your coursor over it. If you found...

Hi I think that you will have trouble [as I have had], if you make a CD Mixing WAV files with MP3's or WMA's. Older CD Players just go nuts with CD's made this way. Computer drives don't handle them much better. You can mix MP3's with WMA's. WMA is only good for Media Player. You have to make a choi...
