I found out why.
For some reason Mixcraft 10 had set the program to limit frames per second. Once I unticked the box all was well. Nvidia card now in use. Only limited now by refresh rate of monitors.

I got the program at the price adjusted for Pounds Sterling even though the purchase went through shown in dollars.

Create a child track and then instead of sending the tracks to the master volume send them to the child track. That should collapse them in the mixer and on the timeline. You then get the option to ungroup them in the far left of the mixer panel.
