Hi,

What version of 64-bit Windows do you have, xavioz?

Okay, I just installed the 64-bit Windows Vista beta RC1 here in the office and I get no option to convert the files at all. I can convert to wave if I drop a song on the Audio Converter Pro icon.

Hi,

DJ Twist and Burn should just find the songs on your hard drive when you scan your hard drive for songs, assuming these are MP3 files. If you made them into M4P files, you can't use them in DJ Twist & Burn.

Hi,

You could check and see if there are any updated drivers for that soundcard online.

I'm guessing that a new soundcard is the only solution.

Hi, The problem is that most "incomplete files" are not really incomplete. The sotware is just looking for abrupt silence and that can occur on every track of a live album that has applause between tracks instead of silence. It might be better to just turn off the checking for incomplete s...

Hi,

I'm still not convinced it's a problem with 64-bit computers per se, because that would mean that 64-bit Windows is not very backward-compatible at all.

Anybody else out there using 64-bit Windows?

Hi,

I have the same problem on the new Dell computer I have at home. The integrated soundcard doesn't give you the option to record sounds on your own computer. You could get a USB soundcard for your laptop.

Hi,

What are all your options when you click on the Source setting?

Are you recording a video that's already on your computer, or a video that's outside your computer on a different device?

Hi,

Send us one of the files that is not producing the right-click menu. You can email it to support (at) acoustica (dot) com. Mention this discussion so we know what's going on.

Hi,

Can you please post a log file with the effects turned off? In other words, make sure "Load DirectX" and "Load VST" are turned off, then try to reproduce the problem and post the log file.

Hi, How do you have the video's audio output routed into your computer? Is it coming from a VCR audio output to the Line In input on the back of your computer? If so, do you have a Line In setting? If the video is a digital file (avi, mpeg?) you're playing on your computer, try selecting a source li...

Hi, Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software? Make sure you do really have Beatcraft 1.02 build 19 . If that's no help, try turning off third-party effects. In Beatcraft, click on the File menu and select Preferences. In the Miscellaneous preferences, uncheck the options called &quo...

Hi,

What are you recording? What do you have selected for your recording source on the recording screen?

Also, what version of Mixcraft do you have?

Hi,

go into your C:\Program Files\Acoustica Beatcraft\ folder and open up the file called beatcraft-log.txt. Click inside it and press Ctrl-A to select all the text, then copy it and paste it into a post here.
