LAunchpad Mini?
Hello guys, I decided to get the Launchpad Mini for use with the performance panel in Mixcraft 8. In Control Surface, I cannot find anything related to the Launchpad MINI... Only Launchpad, Launchkey, etc. Is a specific config the the Mini available? I also read stuff about Mode 2, why would this ne...

Re: Protocol MCU HUI
Hi Olivier,
Did you figure more of that stuff out since september? I just changed my MIDI controller from a Novation Launchkey 49 MK2 to an Arturia Keylab Essential 61-key, and i'm having some headaches setting it up properly...

Midiplus SmartPad control surface. Template?
Hello! Just wondering if there is a control surface template available for the Midiplus Smartpad? (the poor man's Novation Launchpad mini). It looks like a cool surface for live loop triggering to go along my Arturia Keylab Essential 61, since it has faders on the top row which the Launchpad Mini do...

Nektar Pacer DAW and footswitch controller
I wonder if anyone tried the Nektar Pacer floorboard? It seems to be a neat device to use footswitches to trigger MIDI commands and you can plus expression pedals to control wah, for example.
It says it can also control transport functions in DAWs but no mention of Mixcraft.
Anyone?

Using a foot pedal to scroll through instrument presets faster?
Hi guys, Happy New Year! I wonder if it's possible to use a foot pedal (with MIDI commands I presume) to scroll through all the presets within an instrument VSTi in Mixcraft? For example, lets say i'm in Acoustica Expanded instruments, and want to move from instrument to instrument and play piano ch...

Re: Using Mixcraft to reamp a Zoom G5n signal
Hi Rolling, The G5n acts as a USB audio interface, so it does have audio outs... What i'm trying to do is to get the dry track "out" of Mixcraft and back into the G5n so I can play with knobs and change the sound on the fly during playback, to adjust gain, reverb, etc. and then record the ...

Using Mixcraft to reamp a Zoom G5n signal
Hello, This post is not 100 % directly related to Mixcraft, but still I would appreciate your input. I would like to use my Zoom G5n multieffects unit to record tracks dry in Mixcraft, and do some reamping afterwards using the same device. The G5n is a USB audio interface which Mixcraft can "se...

Re: Mixcraft 8 mix down "use selected" option gone?
The option is not available when rendering a project that has a video track in it though...? I think it will only export the whole project when saving as video.

Re: No video in preview screen (ACVHD format to AVI)
I converted the AVCHD video with Free AVCHD Converter* to MP4 format, and it works! Can't really say why it didn't work in the AVI format... anyways, thanks Greg! *I recommend this to everyone who needs to convert video from JVC/Panasonic/Sony's AVCHD camcorder format... I spent several hours trying...

Re: No video in preview screen (ACVHD format to AVI)
Hi Greg, yeppers, i'm running the 64-bit version.
It might have something to do with the conversion process, maybe the resulting AVI file is not "standard" or something... but again, in VLC it plays just fine.

Re: 10 posts
I'm new and try to do my best :) In the last few weeks, I can't count the times i've recommended Mixcraft to people. Just yesterday night, I was expecting a guy in the evening, just for him to pickup my Focusrite Scarlett, and it turned into a two-hour long home studio visit with a lot of Mixcraft f...

No video in preview screen (ACVHD format to AVI)
Hello! I tried adding an AVI on a video track in Mixcraft 8 Pro and all I see in the preview window is a black image... :( The video was converted from the AVCHD* format to AVI with MediaConvert (freeware). The process seems to have completed successfully, I am able to view the converted video corre...

Re: Cutting a huge project in two parts an saving seperately
Hi, I was thinking of resorting doing the way you described, but I think I figured it out by watching a Mixcraft University video : There is a "Timeline selection" checkbox in the "Mixdown to stems..." feature, so before going into the Mixdown to stems option, you can select what...

Cutting a huge project in two parts an saving seperately
Hi guys, I recorded a live show on my Zoom L-12 recorder and each mic input has it own huge .WAV file on my hard drive. I loaded them up in Mixcraft and did some editing to cut the microphones that were not used in certain songs, etc. Now i'd like to save each track of boths sets of the live show, k...
