Hum removal
Does Mixcraft come with a stock hum/crackle/noise removal plugin? I already have RX6 De-hum, but it's the demo version and creates silent spots in the audio. If not, what do you recommend, freebie-wise?

Re: Add sound file via right click
Well, in all fairness to us, it does say Audio Track on the so called header.

Re: Add sound file via right click
It should be noted, that when I select the track header and ctrl+H, it enables sound file to be added to it. So, that should suffice.

Re: Add sound file via right click
Sorry, I didn't realize that was called the track header. I had a plugin that was large and I didn't want to minimize. It was blocking the audio track and the toolbar. So, when I went to right click to add a sound, there was no option to. As shown by Trev's screenshot, which is what I should have sh...

Re: Add sound file via right click
Hmm. When I right clicked directly on the track, not clip area which was covered, that option didn't appear. But I'll try ctrl+h. Thanks.

Add sound file via right click
T'would be nice to be able to right click on an audio track and "add a sound file" option shows up on dropdown list. Sometimes a big plugin is open and it blocks the toolbar menu.

Re: Convert drum loops to midi
Hopefully, AI tech will advance enough to make the process simpler in the near future. In any case, this has definitely moved me to just use tap 2 find in EZD and try to match up with the audio loop manually.

Re: Convert drum loops to midi
Thanks for expanding on this. So, you mean to tell me the "convert audio to midi" has been a Melodyne function built into Mixcraft this whole time? I thought they were two different sources. Color me surprised.

Re: Convert drum loops to midi
Nice. I do have the standalone melodyne. I'll try it there.

Convert drum loops to midi
Has anybody had much success doing the topic? I tried Mixcraft conversion and I tried saving it as a midi file in Melodyne as well. But it comes up as a shaker and nothing else. What am I doing wrong?

Re: How to shift audio to a particular tempo
Something else I've used to match up tempo is under the sound tab. When Time Stretch is highlighted I move the rate adjustment up or down. Up makes it slower and down, faster. It's helped me on a number of occasions with tracks that were recorded without a click track. I had to split at certain poin...

Re: Mixcraft ideas
I find myself bypassing the metronome altogether and laying out drum loops. Then I change the time signature on the marker. Then add a new loop to match. I find it so much better to play guitar along with a drum groove than a click.

Re: Classic Delay - control?
Hi. I think this is what you mean? Open the automation lane for Classic Delay and select 'Mix'. Then between 1 and 1.5 minutes, left click and drag to create a section. It will put in automation points which you can then raise to taste with the automation handle. Delay Automation.png Yeah, that's w...

Re: Classic Delay - control?
I usually adjust the mix. Click on mix in the drop down list and lower the line on the sections where you don't want delay. Unless I misunderstood your question. If I did, apologies.
