Re: Newbie Q about silence at the end of tracks

Newbie Q about silence at the end of tracks

Hi all ! I've encountered new little problem with my mixing. It's the first time that it did that to me. When I'm recording jingles music (for ads etc...), I have a strict time structure : 30 sec. Not less, not more (that's what the client asked me). So my tracks was 30 sec. But I don't know why I'v...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Also I read overhere that Mixcraft record in 16bits 41khz by default. Exporting in 32 bits 48khz would be resampling the recorded track. I could be cool if Mixcraft 8 could record in 32 bits 48khz by default. Or at least, let us chose a default setting. I think it could improv the quality of Mixcra...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Does Mixcraft have automatic delay compensation (when addings plugins) ?! If not, it could be cool to introduce a kind of Pro Tool's delay compensation and "nudge" feature. From my point of view it's a "must have" to create tracks are tight rythmically and so sounds better. Mixc...

Re: *** Plugins Poll ***

An "autotune" in the way of Melodyne would be killer but impossible ^^. A phase analyser. Very usefull to have on the master bus. A tape plugin ? Not really usefull but always fun. A good delay plugin ? I use the Replika from Natives Instrument. Sounds reaaaally good for digital delay stuf...

Re: Stuttering with Phantom Power?

Thank you for the tips ! Even it looks too technical to testing it "DIY". I think I have to bring it to a professional to check. But that's a real pain in the ass when you bought your computer brand new and have those kind of problems... Sometimes, my mouses wont load when I switch on the ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Okay, So I will repost my suggestions for Mixcraft 8 for changing the subject ^^ : Simple but usefull : - Grouping faders to easily move more than 1 fader at once. - Copy/Paste plugins to tracks. Like copy/paste SSL Channel Strip, Waves NLS, Vu Meter, Trim etc... - A better audio zoom for reaching m...

Re: Stuttering with Phantom Power?

There are tools and ways to verify sufficient power to the USB ports as well. There could be a computer power supply problem tat effects that circuit. From there unfortunately, you my be faced with the need to try a different mic and/or interface, or test yours on another computer to narrow in on t...

Re: Will Waves Tune Native Plugin Work With Mixcraft?

Well I have to admitt that I can understand the problem. Since I'm able to create a Waves Rewire track but the link can't be established and I don't know why. Perhaps Acoustica's developers could try to download the Waves Tunes trial to test it out why it doesn't work ? (haha yes I'm expecting too m...

Re: Will Waves Tune Native Plugin Work With Mixcraft?

Yes but I've got an Intel i7 and it still doesn't work.

I think Mark is right.

But do you think that me previous solution below could work ?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!

Yeaaah Mixcraft 8 will be perfect. It doesn't lack a lot of essential things to the 7 (native sidechaining indeed, better zoom, grouping faders etc...). I'm really looking forward to it. Whereas I usually thinks the update of DAW are useless (Pro Tools became more and more instable and shitty), I do...

Re: Will Waves Tune Native Plugin Work With Mixcraft?

Any news about Wave Tune ? I would really like to use it but it can't... But I'll try an idea : Perhaps we can edit the track where we want Waves Tune to work with an external editor (with the dedicated function in Mixcraft). A simple one such as Reaper or Audacity if they can handle Waves Tune. By ...
