It sounds like you are burning in IMAPI mode. Try turning that off in the CD Burning preferences (File Menu > Preferences > CD Burning).

If your drive isn't recognized without IMAPI, try the Goldenhawk Override option in the General preferences.

Try changing it from "Default Wave Device" to the actual audio driver for your sound card.

Also, click on Settings in Spin It Again and make sure you've got it set to a sample rate of 44100 and a bit depth of 16-bit on the Audio tab.

The label maker is looking for the pathname to the actual songs, from which it will retrieve the tag information, or if there is no tag information, the filename of the song. So, add a field that shows the full pathname to the song and it will work.
