Couple of simple things to check. Arm your track and select a channel or "Any Channel". Make sure that your track is not muted and that "Solo" is not in use on another track. If you turned the device on after you opened Mixcraft, close Mixcraft and re-open. Then check all of the ...

I wouldn't E-Bay an audio interface if I was you. I bought an Alesis at Tom Lee Music and took it back because it didn't work for me. The clerk wasn't even phased. Gave me an M Audio Fast Track Pro and cautioned that I may go through every item on the shelf before I got what I needed. Point is... Th...

Hi Gordon: I thought I had suggested Asio 4 all right before you asked. All you have to do is download it and give it a go. One advantage that it has is that it will recognize more than one interface at a time thereby allowing more live tracks. However there is no real substitute for the manufacture...

Hit "File", "Preferences" and fish around in there. You can put the files wherever you want to.

Thanks guys. I'll download the V.U. meter. Good visual clue. Never thought of that.
I've uploaded them to http://mixcraftlive.com/members/93/
Great site by the way.
One more to mix and I think I'm done.

Hey Thanks, Vibrant Audio.
I just followed that link and joined up.
I'll throw some songs on later.
Fantastic way to get some help from the folks here.
Cheers!

Could be any number of reasons. Reverb is one. Monitor quality. How busy are your tracks? What sounds great one track at a time will not necessarily sound so good in the mix.
Best to let someone (not me though) hear a slice.
Somebody smart!

Normalize

Sorry. I went through the last 10 pages and didn't find the topic. How important is it to normalize all tracks. I have nine of the ten album tracks stretched out in one project and when I click "Normalize" it increases the volume on some tracks to the point of distortion at the peaks. When...

I have the Behringer Xenyth 1240 FX and just decided to try it out with Mixcraft.
Nice actually.
Pick up two powered speakers and you have yourself a whole new P.A. or pack it around as a preamp.

Didn't know that but I will buy it down the road. Cheap at half the price! I'm betting that for 5 Euros the Chords Pattern feature will allow you to transfer your patterns over to Mixcraft. I have all of the majors, minors & sevenths stored in a folder and they work without the application from ...

On the subject of Virtual Keyboards... You may want to download "All That Chords".
A remarkable tool for midi users and free!
Save all of your chords in one folder and use them as you please.
Same instruments as Mixcraft, I believe.
