Re: Linux version or Windows 10 tips?
Hi, I have been using Windows 10 for over 3 years without issues. My computer is not connected to the internet. I had only connected it when needed to download plugins. Now I load plugins from a thumb drive, downloaded from another computer. I turned off as many functions I could. I followed the adv...

Re: How to apply one effect to multiple tracks?
Hi, You could use a " sub mix " track, and enter the tracks you want into that track. Then add the plugin you want . I did that with my live recorded drum tracks. I had microphones on the bass drum, snare, hi hat, tom 1, tom 2, floor tom, and two overhead microphones. The drum instrument t...

Hi,
Try using the interface in ASIO . That should give you more options, and better latency.

Re: TASCAM US16X8 and delay in recordings
Hi, You should be able to hear the metronome while recording your instruments . I use this when I start recording a price. I can hear the metronome in my headphones along with the instrument I am recording. I can also have the metronome active when playing back what was recorded. Hope this was helpf...

Hi,
If it is working for you, no need to change. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.
I use monitors and headphones.
Have fun, and stay safe!

Hi,
Check your MIDI channel settings. If they are set to the same channel they will both play from your keyboard controller.

Re: Midi Sync Issues
Hi, If you are using hardware , you could try plugging MIDI OUT from your interface to MIDI IN on the first unit. If that first unit has a MIDI THRU OUT, you could connect that to the MIDI IN on the second unit. Your audio from the two units would have to be connected to your audio interface to be a...

Re: Sharing MIDI channels?
Hi, I use a MOTU 5 input / output midi unit . It connects to my computer via USB. It has 5 five pin midi inputs and 5 five pin midi outputs. I have 3 keyboard controllers connected ( Keystation 88, Roland D5, and a 49 key controller ) . I connect one of the outputs to the IN on my Roland U220 module...

Re: Turning A Project Into A Wav When Using External Synths
Hi, If you have 24 inputs, is it a mixer with a built in interface? Some mixers like that only give you 2 tracks ( stereo ) of digital audio. I use a Focusrite 18i20, which allows me to record 8 tracks at a time, when I need to. I did that for recording a drum kit. I can expand to 16 inputs with one...

Re: Video Rendering in MX 9 is extremely slow
Hi, I rendered a 14:05minute video using Mix 9 Recording Studio without any issues. I have 16gb of ram, and an i5 quad core CPU. My audio was WAV. I had rendered it a few times while working on my project, as it was my first attempt at doing a video in Mixcraft. You can view my video here; https://y...

Re: Turning A Project Into A Wav When Using External Synths
Hi, How many inputs does your audio interface have? If it has 2 inputs, then you could record as stereo signal of 2 mono signals from your external synths. If the audio from your synths to through a mixer, you could mix your parts there, then record that mix. If you have more than 2 inputs you can a...

Hello, The track meters should show you the levels per track. When recording in ASIO mode your audio interface will set your recording level. This can be seen on the track meter. If your interface software shows meters for your inputs, you can also use these meters to set your input level. I use a F...

Re: Choppy Videos - Can I Shorten Vids?
I was lucky as I didn't have to edit audio. I just added video to 4 pieces of music. For me it was placing the videos in the locations that fit the music. The glichy video took some getting used to. But when I tried rendering a test of one music piece, i saw that it was working fine. So I just focus...
