Re: Help with automation
Sorry, I thought that would be sufficient information for you guys to replicate the issue, and I guess it was - eventually. Not a hugely important issue I'm sure but a bug nevertheless

Re: Where's the help file ?
Greg, why don't you upload and publish the help file here, on the forums. I'm happy to proof read it, but it's a lot easier to do that on a tablet than a PC.

Re: Beta Drums - In A Gadda Da Vida
That's hugely impressive. Drums sound pretty good, but the programming is excellent. Must have taken a while to do and to get right! Great work

Re: New original song
Hi ben, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The vocals were intended to have a "vintage" feel to them, and hence a bit of distortion. But I'd agree that they are probably a bit over the top in places. Probably will need to rerecord them at some stage and work upwards from there.

New original song
Got inspired by the beta of Mixcraft 7 to try something new, so I've sat and written my first original song, Freddie Johnson's Blues. Don't think it really stretched Mixcraft's new features, but I certainly enjoyed recording it and I found a few bugs along the way, so I guess it's all good. Freddie ...

Re: New song...
What a great track, I'm not sure it's disco but it's certainly an imaginative and well crafted pop song, and a very tasteful solo

Mixcraft upgrade question....
Will there be an upgrade path from mixcraft 6 to mixcraft 7 pro studio? Or should I pay for an upgrade now from Mixcraft 6 to 6 Pro Studio, and then onwards to Mixcraft 7 when released?
To be frank (and cheeky) what's going to be the cheapest way?
Cheers, Iain

EZdrummer 2 issues
Guys, I wonder if anyone has some experience in using ezd2. I have a song which starts quiet and gets loud, and I want to use two different kits in EZD. However, I can't seem to find a way to do this. If I load the first midi pattern to Mixcraft, change the preset in EZD, and load another midi patte...

Steppin' Out
Though that after the last attempt, I'd post a follow up and see what you guys think. I've recently bought a Novation Midi Keyboard controller, so this started of an a bit of an experiment to see what some basic acoustic guitar with some piano would sound like. I don't play keyboards so this was kin...

Cover of Dakota - your opinions and suggestions welcome
Hi all, I thought that i would share the first piece I've recorded with Mixcraft that I'm moderately happy with. It's a cover of the Stereophonics' Dakota. Recorded with Mixcraft 6, the Minimogue plugin for the keyboard sounds, EZ-Drummer for the drums, and guitars, bass and vocals all recorded thro...

Microphone choice
I read the topic on which microphones people use with interest. I'm looking for a new microphone, my current one is a studiospares clone of a shure SM58 and I think my vocals would be better with a different, better mic. I'm unsure of which route to go down, either a proper dynamic mic, probably a r...

Configuration of novation impulse
Having some issues with initial config of this keyboard controller. I wonder if anyone can help me? Using the control surfaces function in mixcraft I want to sign the track up and track down commands. However the impulse keyboard needs to use the shift command to access these. i'm pressing the shift...
