Umm,you can change the tempo or pitch of any given track via the sound tab near the bottom of the screen.Might be what you're looking for.

I'm using a peavey PVi2.Sounds great.No different from shure 58,or so I'm told,for about half the price.I use it for vocals and recording my own bongos,direct to mic in.

Even better would be to actually integrate the two programs into one,since many people use both.

Follow up note:To obtain a bass sound from a guitar in mixcraft.Go to the sound tab near the bottom of the screen.You can change the pitch for any particular track.Drop the pitch an octave(-12.0).Too easy.Don't know why I didn't think of it early.Cheers,G.

I did manage to find something that sounds reasonably ok if you find the right settings.It's called madshifta,but I think it's more geared for hip-hop,dance and dj stuff.G.
