Will future versions of Mixcraft work on Win7?
Hi everyone, I know Mixcraft 9 has not yet been released but upon release would it support Windows 7? I am only curious as it seems Microsoft is dropping support for W7 sometime in January 2020. I would like to be able to hold on to 7 for as long as possible because everything running in the studio ...

Free Saturation Plugin
Hi All, I recently stumbled upon this new plugin called FrontDAW on United Plugins site. Apparently it's a saturation plugin which uses VARM technology to emulate subtle differences in physical consoles, normally it's £50 but they are offering it for free for a small period as an introductory offer....

Re: Something weird its going on....
Hi, I believe that is a vst of some sort initialising, mine always hangs for about 30 seconds when it gets to Melodyne. Should it be a massive issue causing MX to hang for a long time there is the possibility to disable it under the 'Manage Plugins' tab in the 'File' menu, however from what I unders...

Re: Mixcraft 8 with Behringer BCF2000
The BCF2000 looks like an older version of the X-Touch board that I am using. Works well in Mixcraft 8 using Mackie Control under Control Surface options. Only a few bells and whistles such as the dedicated utility buttons and function keys don't work with Mixcraft but the BCF2000 doesn't seem to ha...

Re: Melodyne Standalone?
guitbuddy, I think you can use Melodyne Standalone within Mixcraft by applying it as an FX on the track then using the "transfer" button within melodyne to move the audio across? Never done it that way as I use melodyne integrated into the details window but that is how I have done it pre...

Re: Live mixing in the studio (not 'out there')
As far as I know I don't think there is an option that allows you to bounce in 'Realtime'. I could be wrong though as I don't use external synths that require the audio to be passed back through them during bounce out - "offline" bounce does me just fine. In regards to the automation thing...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Morning again, And changing the active window upon opening a clip would be very helpful. For instance if I double click a MIDI clip to edit it in the piano roll and press CTRL-A it will select all of the clips in the song instead of all the notes in the piano roll until I click in the piano roll to...

Re: Screen Recorder that captures audio being played in Mixcraft?
You guys are legends! Thanks so much guys. Mick using your settings with WaveRT it works perfectly! I decided to use my laptop with Logic Pro X to record the voice over as I needed to play audio from the session which I couldn't do easily if it was recording but it was a better suggestion than using...

Re: Screen Recorder that captures audio being played in Mixcraft?
Hi Greg, mxpref.JPG Here are the preferences that I am using in Mixcraft all running fine there atm 8) Out1/2 allows me to use the monitor knob on the interface. I reckon I might be missing blatantly obvious with the screen recorder but I've included a screenshot of that for good measure as well to ...

Hey Guys, Thanks for the input, I have installed flashback recorder but am still issued with the same audio problem. Mic is being picked up as it should going into input 1 on the interface and is picked up by the screen recorder but whenever I go to play the audio track that is in Mixcraft, the audi...

Screen Recorder that captures audio being played in Mixcraft?
Hi Guys, For a project I need to be able to screen record my Mixcraft session along with a voice over, I am using OBS and can record the voice over just fine however when I press play from Mixcraft the audio plays through my monitors but isn't picked up on the recording. Just seeing if any of you gu...

Re: Which DAW mixers are working with Mixcraft?
Hi Benji, I have a Behringer X-Touch which works well with Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 if your after is the physical feel of an outboard desk, it also has pots which work well for panning as well as scribble strips and a scrub wheel. Besides that it has some other features but either these are not support...

Re: Melodyne help needed
This might be a long shot but are there multiple clips on the track you have selected? I get the same sort of scenario if I try to do that.
Just thought I'd add my $0.02.

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I've been having a think recently about features I'd like to see added. Here are mine, hopefully they haven't already been repeated or implemented yet - if so let me know! - Easier routing for multiple headphone mixes, basically an easier way for sending multiple instruments to different headphones ...
