Re: Mixcraft still the easiest learning curve!

Hey everyone, Just gonna add my part here, throughout all the years I have used DAWs I have found that Mixcraft is the one I find I am most productive using. I have tried talking a few friends of mine into using it however they view it as being some what of a beginners workstation which I totally di...

Re: Melodyne Essentials.

Hi Mist001, You shouldn't have to use the transfer button as far as I am aware. If you record say a vocal track and double click to reveal the 'waveform' there should be a little button in the top left corner which says 'Melodyne' click that wait for it to load and you should be able to see the blob...

A couple of questions

Hi Guys, Yet another question here for you all. Is it possible to assign a save location for user created virtual instrument sounds within Mixcraft? Currently, I have MX installed on my laptop which runs great when I am out and about at a gig/session however when i'm back home at the studio i'd like...

Re: Problem with Melodyne 4 essential Version 4.1.1

Hi, For those of you who are thinking of upgrading, I believe Celemony have started offering 'Upgrade' packages where you only pay the difference if you have a current Melodyne license. (This is what I did and it works a charm) Just throwing my two cents here so you don't have to splash out on a new...

Re: Mixcraft Not Responding When Scanning For Plug-ins

Hi Dale, I see what you mean now sorry for my misunderstanding . I used to have an issue similar to this on my laptop, I run Mixcraft out live so I can use the instruments when playing keys. Whenever I rescanned Windows would crash out on the Waves-Shell dll file one easy to fix is to uninstall...

Re: Mixcraft Not Responding When Scanning For Plug-ins

Hi Dale,
Out of curiosity in regards to your post, how many plugins would it take to cause such an issue?
I'm currently rocking around 540 plugins I think last time I checked, which takes Mixcraft around 13 seconds to load.

Regards,

Snap To Grid shortcut key fix

Hi Everyone, I have recently got back to work which means I am in the MIDI Editor a lot more again making orchestral music and other pieces as my routine usually goes. I like Mixcraft's snap to grid feature and use it pretty much all the time and all is well however say, I have Snap to Grid off I ba...

Re: Does the presonus faderport work with MX8?

Hi Greg,
Sorry for late reply, work has just been piling in recently
Would it be possible to set the control surface as generic control surface so I can make use of the other buttons by assigning them to another function or would that mess things up?
Cheers

Does the presonus faderport work with MX8?

Hi Guys, I have recently been looking at the Presonus Faderport to add to my ever growing collection of hardware. I've looked into the Mixcraft 8 Manual and believe it comes underneath the 'Generic MIDI Controller' section but on the product I can't find anything about it saying about the Mackie Uni...

Re: Question on Instrument Midi Clips

Hi Mark and everyone! I have been working with MIDI clips all week as part of a long term project I am doing. I have found the same issue with the clip repeating itself but I believe I have a way to get round it for the short-term. Basically on the track I double click in a space where there is curr...

Re: Can't set volume/fader points in "skinny" tracks

Hi mixyguy2, I did a test and managed to get the two thin lanes you were speaking about. I found that pulling down the track 'header' on the left hand side (where the arm, solo, fx buttons are) made the lanes bigger so that you can place the volume points (automation). If you pull down to around the...
