Re: Frustrating latency
So... Under Prefernces we have... Driver = Wave Default Recording Device = Microphone (2 USB Audio CODEC Playback Device = (E-MU E-DSP) Wave Options are 44100, Buffers 4, BIt 24, Buffer Size 4096 - These obviously only affect Audio recording though and we are dealing with delay via the USB through t...

Re: Frustrating latency
Thanks Bill - Yep, tried taking the hub out of the equation. No difference.
I'll try the straight MIDI route too, thanks.

Re: Frustrating latency
Hi Everyone. Thanks for the attention. Toton5 - I'll check the preference you mention. But for now.... Bear in mind - Even if I do not record Audio at all and just record the VI in mixcraft its behind. If all I do is just hit a note on the keyboard there is a delay till the sound of the selected/arm...

Re: Frustrating latency
Nothings changed. Been living with the prob for ages just haven't figured out a solution. Not a recent issue - just ongoing and unfixed. Been on 7 Pro Studio since it came out. Could it be a Windows setting perhaps? Dunno. I'm lost. It makes recording straight midi/vitual instrument tracks pointless...

Frustrating latency
Yep this isn't the first rodeo for this topic. Sorry. I have a VERY simple set-up. Novation keyboard Usb connected to my PC. Windows 7. MIDI from novation to rack Alesis QSR. Audio from this goes into my crappy behringer mixer and from there the into my sound card. I typically record a virtual instr...

Re: Edit or even view 2 tracks at once
Greg. Thanks for the response. Just to be sure, I wasn't talking about audio clips but parts. MIDI note info. This is so for instance you select (shift click?) typically - user digression - adjacent parts, say drum and bass to see how they match up, edit etc. it saves so much time going in and out o...

Edit or even view 2 tracks at once
I think this has been a base feature in other DAWs for years. It maybe possible in muxcraft but I can't find it in the manual or by trying combinations of shift and select etc. Is there any way to simple view 2 or mor instrument/midi parts at once in the piano roll editor so you can contrast and com...
