Re: Sidechain only works sometimes?
Hi, I played around with it a bit more and I still don't quite get the volume ducker. To me it doesn't seem to work as I would expect. Perhaps it's instantaneous to be used with a kick drum or something short. And the volume graph seems to affect the output regardless of the sidechain source trigger...

Re: Takes in Loop Mode Split Issue
Sorry, I am unable to duplicate your issue using takes and looping in Mixcraft 10.1 build 579 By any chance do you have a multitimbral synth or multi channel input being used to record? There could also be a MIDI clock running that is outputting time code that is causing perhaps a start and stop rec...

Re: Sidechain only working when source is soloed?
Hi, I'm not familiar enough with all of the settings of shaperbox 3 to tell you definitively what you are doing right or wrong but I can tell you that I am able to compress or "duck" entire submixes using a sidechain source without having to solo the source track. Off the bat, modify your ...

Re: Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio - Midi Track - Problem with handling
sounds like a faulty mouse. For example, I've used logictech trackball mice for years and after a while on all of them the left click button wears and registers double clicks often when it's meant to be a single click. So try switching to a brand new out of the box mouse and see if it makes a differ...

Re: Change key (change notes)? Possible?
Hi, Check it out here: https://codefn42.com/notemapper/ It might take a minute to understand. There's a manual that comes with it. The basic premise is, for each MIDI note that listed on the left, you can map it to do something else: play a different note, send a CC, change velocity - whatever. For ...

Re: Change key (change notes)? Possible?
Hi, You can use something like notemapper to intercept specific MIDI notes (all of them if you want) and output a different value. This would have to be recorded onto another track in order for the MIDI value to be actually recorded at the new pitch on the piano roll. There's a scale feature that wi...

...aslo check for unusual characters in the filename. There were also Windows related ID3 tag problems related to FLAC files. So it had to do with how the metadata was inside the FLAC file.

Re: Setting levels for song sections
Hi, Here's an idea: Create a verse, set volumes etc, mix it down to an audio file. Create a chorus, set levels, mix down to an audio file. Start a new project, open the performance panel and add the mixed down verses and choruses in sequence as you need them on the performance grid. Put the verses o...

Re: G-Sonique plugins
Hi, Looking at the G-Sonique website, they address the 64 bit plugin question: 7. Are yours plugins also in 64bit versions? The plugins having x64 logo in shop section have also 64bit version. However the plugins without x64 logo are 32bit only , they are working great in any 64bit DAW using its int...

Re: Mixcraft STOCK VU Meter Plugin?
Bottom line is, you have to know what you are looking for , and in what position. In other words: know thy meter. So not for me. If anybody comes up with a meter how to , let me know. Hi, I've posted this elsewhere as a high level primer for mvMeter2 in relation to the peak meter on the Mixcraft mi...

Re: Mixcraft STOCK VU Meter Plugin?
Yeah, mvMeter2 is great.
If you want something similar to the meter on the master track, SPAN would be a great option and it has different scales you can use.

Re: Mixcraft STOCK VU Meter Plugin?
Hi, This was something I had hunted for in the past. Bundled with Mixcraft - though not a dedicated VU meter is TB Ferox Tape Emulator. If you zero the controls that affect the sound and set the HP and LP to the min and max respectively - the sound should pass through without changing. You could use...

Re: Track ending
I see what you're sayin'. My guess would be it's hard to determine what to do with empty track information versus a track that has a clip (mixable information) as Mixcraft exists now. Being able to say mix down between this marker and that marker would be a great feature - regardless of whether ther...
