audio routing
You'll notice that many of my product review videos feature Mixcraft as my base DAW. This is quite a contrast from many of my contemporaries who use Studio One and/or Pro Tools. Mixcraft is pleasant to work with, efficient and attractive - it does however lose points for lagging behind in terms 64 b...

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion! Greg It's all good. I really like Mixcraft and will continue to support you guys. Thanks for all the good, new features that are included. The truth is, I really don't want to have to use other DAWs out of necessity - only when I want a different production platform t...

Hi Greg. I appreciate that there may be a side-chain plug-in, such as "Sidekick", but that's just a basic compressor, and is not a robust, intrinsic feature. It also dictates that one would be limited to Sidekick and could not use "CLA 76", or "Pro-C" in a side-chaining...

Aww shucks! I have no doubt that the new version will be great value for it's price, but I'm disappointed that this important feature is omitted. I was one of the first to raise questions about a 64 bit version back when version 6 was released. Now I'll pester you for side-chaining. For pro, contemp...

Re: Favorite aspect of Mixcraft 7
Would love to hear a native 64 bit version of the Acoustica Pro Reverb. I have some of the industry's best (Lexicon LPX, Valhalla, EAReverb, Redline Reverb, and a few others). However, I really like the Acoustica Pro Reverb.

Re: I need to shift multiple tracks
It might as simple as group selecting the tracks (multi-select) and shifting as needed. Sounds shifty to me *Grin.

Shred Amp Simulator Input Level
This is not a Mixcraft issue; it's a "Shred" problem. Try to find ver. 1.06 of Shred and overwrite the 1.01 version bundled with the DAW. Try searching in Google - ACMEBarGig have not hosted the files since at least 2 years (maybe longer). I have it on a backup CD, I think. If you can't fi...

Mixcraft 7 likes and dislikes
Please go back to a lighter background such as seen in MX 5 & 6. I really find the new color scheme too dark. There is such excellent contrast in MX 6.

Thanks, Greg. This is wonderful news.

VST3 ??
Hi crew. Am I missing something? It doesn't seem to me that there is any VST3 support in ver. 7. Two important features for me are side-chaining and VST3 support. How do others feel about this?

Side-chaining and Automation Stacking?
Hi DG, Yes, I agree with you about the automation features. As a matter of fact I found the MX 6 automat features easier to use than those in my other DAWs. Nah, I don't really want to use some kind of plug-in to emulate side-chaining, I need the real thing. This is a feature I really appreciate in ...
