Mixcraft 10: option to install legacy stuff?
Greg or whatever other lucky person gets to answer this: I really liked how with v9 you had the option to install the previous instruments/effects/etc. Will that remain with v10?
Re: Beta v10
Hi Greg, yes I understand, my question is how you chose the Beta testers leaving out others who would have liked to test version 10 and we are long time users of other versions. I think in the future you should allow your 'customers' to test these 'betas' and NOT just ignore and leave out many of t...

Re: Will MC 10 Have Better VST Support?
Maybe it's a Sonible thing. I have used literally hundreds of plugins of all kinds on Mixcraft and rarely had issues with crashing or unusually high CPU use etc.

Re: Questions on 44.1k and 48k sample rates
- Do Mixcraft projects work fine with a mix of 48k wav and 44.1k wav? Of course....... - Is the 48k sample rate harder on CPU than 44.1k? No. - Have you noticed issues with some plugin working at 44.1k and not at 48k, or vice-versa? No. And I use a lot of plugins. - I've read some stuff by people s...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Hi Greg, not sure I follow "the VST file." You mean the DLL? If so, then that means the drag n drop only works if your plugin is a single DLL file? Or can I place the other files in my VST folder and then drag the DLL and it works?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
Did you know if you drag the VST or VST3 from a folder onto mixcraft that it will automatically add it right there and then? I did not, thanks for that! But what if a VST has multiple files (not just a DLL)? Can I grab them all at once and drop them in, or should they all be in a folder and drag th...

Re: Easiest Plugins on Computer?
There are two indicators in the lower right-hand of the screen which can give you an idea, but I also have a modest PC and never had issues (granted I'm not building 100-track songs either).DanTheSongwriter wrote: ↑Fri Feb 18, 2022 3:54 am Is there a way to check how much drain there is from different plugins on the computer?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I do wish the track colors changed the entire area around the track instead of just a tiny little 4 pixel area on the left side of the track: https://i.ibb.co/LgmG8Z2/feature.png ?? On mine it highlights with a line above and below the track, although granted it is quite thin. It would be nice if i...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
A minor one I thought of but would be much appreciated for a pluginaholic like me:
When I add a new plugin, is it possible to not have to re-scan ALL of my directories just to get it to show up? I so wish there was a way that one thing could be added quickly.

Re: EastWest Libraries
I've heard really good things about the sound quality, but I've also seen the articulation/UI nightmare they are and so have no interest. If you can get past that, it's probably worth it I just couldn't.

Re: Waves Plugins Goes Full Subscription (Creative Access)
I'd heard good things about Waves, but after dealing with their terrible register/install process, wrote them off. If I hadn't, this would do it. With the possible exception of using it as a "try before you buy" process for otherwise much more expensive things (like orchestral libraries), ...

Re: Kjaerhus plugins - pls tell me they aren't bundled with MC
Hi, Yes, they were freeware. We made those plugins optional in Mixcraft 9, so they only get installed if you choose to install the legacy plugins (they are all really old 32-bit plugins). If you don't want them, uninstall Mixcraft and then install again without installing the legacy plugins. Why do...
