Maybe it's a Sonible thing. I have used literally hundreds of plugins of all kinds on Mixcraft and rarely had issues with crashing or unusually high CPU use etc.

Hi Greg, not sure I follow "the VST file." You mean the DLL? If so, then that means the drag n drop only works if your plugin is a single DLL file? Or can I place the other files in my VST folder and then drag the DLL and it works?

There are two indicators in the lower right-hand of the screen which can give you an idea, but I also have a modest PC and never had issues (granted I'm not building 100-track songs either).
