There's no need to uninstall Melodyne - just run the installer, choose modify and deselect everything. It won't appear in Mixcraft but the program will still be installed. When you do need Melodyne just run the installer again, choose modify and select VST3. Easy as that...

Yes I did activate v4 but the hard drive got formatted when I installed WIndows 7 so there will be no trace of that activation in the registry. I'll send a support request anyway - thanks for your help Greg.

Forgot to mention, if my memory serves me right, the general consensus here is to avoid the vst3 versions of the plugins.

I've had problems with my Waves plugins (GTR, GTRSolo) which turned out to be entirely graphics related - maybe investigate that possibility? As far as I'm aware Waves doesn't officially support Mixcraft so no good going to them for help...
