Re: MC 7 to MC8 Recomendations
Hi All, Thanks for the info. What I'd like to do is delete MC7, and just use 8. And then have all the project 7 files open up in 8. I wonder if it will do that? I get the feeling if I delete 7, and then click on an 7 project file, it's gonna say, no program associated with this file. And then I woul...

Wood Flute VSTi
Hi All,
Anyone know of a VSTi for a wood flute?
Also, a selection of World Instruments?
I've searched everywhere, no luck.
Cheers

MC 7 to MC8 Recomendations
Hi, Is it recommended that we remove MC7 from the computer when we have got MC8 running? Is there a way to associate all the MC7 files to MC8? I have tried doing this in Windows 10, but I can't get any MC program to show up in Default Programs. Is there an official video or info on the use of Melody...

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Hi Mark, Thanks, I'll give that a go. No plugins on anything I have put up as a test. Maybe I'm being over critical of my sound. I have asked one other person and their reply was it all sounded OK. I'm guessing that, unless it's a really odd sound, most people will say the same thing. But it good to...

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Hi Again, I've downloaded Addictive Keys Vst and given that a whirl. In Mixcraft, it sounds clearer and brighter. But, I've uploaded it to SoundCloud and I feel it is worse than the Pianoteq VST. It seems to echo more. Have a listen. https://soundcloud.com/rob-kennedy-9/addictive-keys The addictive ...

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Hi Mark, Interesting you mention the "poorly sampled instrument". I'm looking at alternatives, but I'd like to say here's what I've found so far about the VST's and equipment I use. Piano: Roland FA-08 1 Piano VST: Pianoteq 5 Stage - on D4 Daily Practice, with sustain pedal noise turned al...

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Hi Greg,
Depending on what program I listen to it on my computer it sounds quite different. Like it's in a tunnel.
If I play it as a WAV file loaded into Mixcraft it sounds a little clearer, but not much. The original file in Mixcraft always sounds better.
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Hi Greg,
It is set at 44100 Hz, 32 bit Float Stereo.
Is that correct?

Re: Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Thanks, Everyone. I will re-edit and see if I can get the sound better. But, the issue is for almost every website, and every audio player, the sound is different. I think it really sticks out when it's solo piano. This thing, "Groove Music" that comes with Win 10 as the default player, is...

Aussie Pianist looking to write Jazz with musos
Hello All, Here's my website, http://www.robjkennedy.com/ I grew up playing and writing classical music on the piano and for orchestra. But now, I'm a jazz head. Love the stuff. I'd like to work on some original jazz songs with a percussionist, a bass player, singer, guitarist and brass players and ...

Re: My newest song on SoundCloud..Enjoy!
I like it. But, I'd go all out with the singing. Think Weird Al Yankovic, Alice Cooper. Make it more of a musical parody and it might grab more attention. Love the ending.

Mixcraft to Soundcloud
Hi Everyone, When we create something in Mixcraft and spend so much time getting the sound just right, and then upload it to Soundcloud and the sound is totally different (read, sounds like it's being played in a tunnel), is it what I am doing, or is it the way Soundcloud handles the music? Here is ...

Re: Odd sound device settings
Hi Mark,
Thanks for the info. Yes, the A-49 is a Roland MIDI keyboard controller.
I want to look into a good interface, care to suggest one?
Cheers

Odd sound device settings
Hello All, I use a Microsoft Surface Pro 4, windows 10. And run Mixcraft Pro 7. If I play into MC though my Roland A-49, it works fine on the built in speakers on the Pro 4. No latency and good sound quality. But If I plug in headphones, or external speakers, or run though to Bluetooth speakers, the...
