Company promo song
Here`s a track called "Electrified" I`ve just made for a company that has come up with a new subsea wireless connector system. All instruments/amps has their origin in Mixcraft. I`m usually, no... always struggling big time with the mastering. I cannot say that I really nailed it this time...

Re: Turn down every track's volume at once?
I`m not going to restart it :), but add one thing I have started doing in the end of mixing. I run the exported mp3 through some third party program like MP3Gain to check the db level. I`ve read somewhere that it should be around 89db as a general rule. I always ended up around 91-92db though. I dis...

Re: Mixcraft 6 chrashing when playing avi/wmv files
One more info from me: The choice "set preview window size" is faded out. Even If I`m having the video track selected and video loaded.

Mixcraft 6 chrashing when playing avi/wmv files
Hi I`ve been trying for a while now. Installed codecs on my win7 x64 system . Tried both avi files and wmv files. The result is always the same when I load a video avi file into the mixcraft video track. Window preview window pops up and Windows is telling me the program stopped working and looking ...

Allright. You got me convinced. I`ll back a little out of the loudness war myself Thanks for the hints everyone. I`ll check out that LUFS meter. Right now I`ve been using MP3gain to check the loudness of my songs. They`re usually hitting 95 to 96 dB

Re: Mixcraft 6 : Mixing questions Panning & Master volume
I`ve watched 4 of them. I`ll guess I`m going through his whole list.
I really liked the one with high pass filters. Haven`t used them yet.
Thanks for taking the effort to guide me, Tverlyns.

Mixcraft 6 : Mixing questions Panning & Master volume
Hi Have two questions I`ve been spending some time to understand lately. My first question is probably totally depending on type of music, style etc. But I`m wondering anyway. How much do you pan forexample the guitars/synths to either left or right? I`m usually going for 30-40% to one side, but may...

Re: Can my song get stolen???
My 2 cents: Imagine a copycat steals your song. Can you think of better advertising (assumed your not a celebrity yourself)? You can always prove its your song. You won`t probably win, but you`ll have a chance to get your voice out there. I`ve just put four of my tracks to soundcloud. I even made it...
