Hey all,
I envision a song needing lots of tracks.
Problem is -- after 4 or 5 , only , the interface gets too cluttered. Is there
a way to get a long list of tracks, and work with them easily??
thanks

Re: Best - EASIEST - drum machine?
ANOTHER THING = I thought of: As good as MT power kit is --- I notice its all kind of at ONE volume level. { loud} -- and I don't know enough about drums to even know what I want --- But, what should a drummer play during acoustic guitar parts, or softer parts of a song?? What drum VST - gives VARIE...

If Power Drumkit2 isn't doing it for you, then the next step up is maybe something like BFD Eco, or Native Instruments Abbey Road Drums (From the 60s to Modern styles.
thanks man, power drumkit is the best I have now. I just was checking other options, before
I got too far into it.

Re: Guide Track?
Hey Mark, If you buy some Karoke pre made tracks, they come with a click track. I was hoping MC could add an adjustable one, instead of that metronome. I lot of DAWS are heading toward the BAND IN A BOX MODEL: You can lay down chord progressions IN the daw. So you can get your song down -- even swap...

Re: Guide Track?
Hi Mark, that sounds like a great idea - thanks. I wasnt prowling the forum 2 years, ago, but thanks for that. I thought you might mean MIXCRAFT can generate a click track. Ive bought pro click tracks before -- but doubt they could SYNC TO THE MIXCRAFT ENGINE.. Maybe Im wrong? I was hoping to expand...

Guide Track?
Hey all, if you read my Easiest drummer needed threat, you note, I think main the problem I'm having, is needed a guide track. Whats that you say? Well, simply a rough version of your song. Just a sketch. You then record better quality parts to replace the guide track. Is anyone doing this? I'm rese...

Re: Best - EASIEST - drum machine?
THANKS guys. good suggestions so far. I'm starting to wonder if a " guide track" is what I need . What I mean is, I start adding parts on guitar -- then the longer the track gets the more messed up it gets. I thought I would start with BIAB - maybe one section. { export one section to DAW ...

Re: Best - EASIEST - drum machine?
thanks, yeah I was thinking it was gonna come down to EZ drummer. Not sure if it's easier than power drum kit, or just better. { with more support}. ? I thought/ was hoping - jamstix would " play it self " but I seemed to have start up issues. Band in a box is easy in some ways. Bad / over...

Re: Best - EASIEST - drum machine?
Hi,
just basic rock / pop drums sounds. Addition of latin would be good too.
Easy of use is the main key.
I've tried:
Power drum kit
Jamstix 1.
Band in a Box. / realband
Easy of use is the main key. I'll sacrifice for easy of use.

Best - EASIEST - drum machine?
Hey all, right now drum machines [VST plugins} are slowing my work. Why? 1. Large panels that get in the way of everything. 2. Panels that disappear- and I have to find, then load everything again. 3. Drums on only one [ midi] track, which makes organizing sections hard. b. re-open the track - and t...

Re: Folder help?
Ok,
I think Im going to keep project files on the various C drives . Just put them at the root:
c:\mixcraft\my projects
This way I can do the zip and back up methods easily. I just never like files drilled down to
folders Microsoft *thinks* a user wants.

Re: Folder help?
Thanks. So are people backing up this folder for long term use? I just checked my folder: there are only 2 project folders in there, and only ONE file. Huh? So I'm more confused. So are the files staying on the external drive folders I'm using? How do I load an old project? I'm used to some software...
