Re: TASCAM US16X8 and delay in recordings

I am using ASIO mode and Mixcraft 9, but I dont know anything about build. Please enlighten me. And thank you.

Re: Save Midifile separately

Temporarily add another instrument track and drop the fill clip in it. Save the 2 bar clip in the original track as a midi file, and then you can save the other as a separate midi file. Then put everything back the way it was and delete the new instrument track.

Re: Reason Rack VST wont authorize on Mixcraft 9

You could try "codemeter". It's an authorization that lets you run Reason without having to login over the internet every time you open it. Maybe it is getting stuck with bringing up the login screen while opening a project. https://help.reasonstudios.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002215334-Cod...

Re: snap, crackle and pop..

Also you can go into your task manager and see if anything is running in the background taking up resources. For instance about a year ago I bought a solid state drive and it installed a program that kept data on my new drive and ran in the background and made my tracks pop and crackle intermittentl...

Re: snap, crackle and pop..

the sample rate was 44100. now its 48000.no change. is that what you asked? I was more interested in your buffer settings, normally you can increase your buffer size and get rid of pops and crackles. The downside to increasing it is you will have more latency when recording through your interface. ...

Re: snap, crackle and pop..

You are going to have to give more info. Did it just start this? What is your computer specs? Did you just upgrade? What is your audio interface? Are you using ASIO?What about your project you are working on? Are there 4 tracks or 84 and how many effects are you using? ETC.

Re: MIDI external instruments not receiving midi from Mixcraft

On your instrument track where the midi is, hit the little piano icon just like you would to add a VSTi and there should be a link for External Midi Devices in the category list. Select that see if your device is listed. Select your device and then the midi channel. If it is not listed you may have ...

Re: Convert audio DRUM track to MIDI???

I tried the subject matter and it yielded crazy results. Obviously,it's only for notes and even then, it's not always the most accurate. But I have some fully mixed drum tracks made up of audio samples I don't really care for. And the thought of matching hit for hit with new samples and thereby doi...

Re: Midi Confusion

First off why don't you hook your keyboard straight to your computer using the USB connector on the back? That will take the midi straight into the computer without having to route thru the Presonus and free up the midi connections for the Roland. If there is some reason you do not want to do this y...

Re: Turning A Project Into A Wav When Using External Synths

If you are willing to record the master tracks while playing the song why not just record your external synths onto audio tracks while playing the song and then you can just mixdown to a wav file? Isn't that just another route to the same product? Plus you also get the benefit of doing any further e...

Re: Turning A Project Into A Wav When Using External Synths

You have to record your external synth tracks first in realtime. Just solo your midi and external synth audio tracks and record them then you can mix down your whole project. At least that is the only way I know of and the way I do It.

Re: Anyone download AIR Structure 2..??

You might have to download all five parts first. That might be why you are getting the "files corrupted" message.

What type of files are they? .rar

If they are rar files you have to have all the parts first.

Re: Copying tracks/combining 2 projects?

Go into one project and make presets for your effects settings. Then when you transfer your audio clips to your other project you add your effects and use the preset you made. I do not think there is any other way to do it.

Re: Tempo Conversion

What you are looking for is Time Stretch. I do not think this is possible with midi in Mixcraft. But I may be wrong. I do not ever delve into this but one way you could try is to take your midi track at 200 BPM and mix it to a new audio track. This should change your midi and virtual instrument to a...
