Re: Audio to midi
Any good? http://www.sonuus.com/products_i2m_mp.html I do not have this model but I do have the precursor to it by the same company. This is it here. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/G2M It's fun to play around with but it is monophonic, no chords, and when you played faster lead lines it did...

Re: Acoustica Compressor setting for sustained bass guitar
Cannot help with the sustain but sometimes to make drums sound fuller I duplicate the track and pan one to the left and the other to the right. Then sometimes I zoom all the way out and offset one track very little to the other on the timeline.

Re: Having a hard time opening Mixcraft 6
It won't allow me to "open" the log file, and it asks me what software I want to use to open it ? When I say open it as a "WORD" document" it says it can do it. No matter what I choose to open the LOG folder, I get the message "access denied" Greg, I own Mixcraft ...

Should be, the only difference is MC6 will only see 32 bit VST's and MC7 will see both 64 bit and 32 bit VST's.

Re: Master Limiter sends my volume into the red zone?
 Ya. enter Facebook and Piracy. But there are standards and procedures for today's market: Boost your final track to distortion then put it through a squashpressor, then add lots of reverb, boost it to distortion again, EQ out the distortion, bring up the volume again, then use the limiter. If ...

Re: Newbie TO Mixcraft
Hey John, go to File/ Preferences to bring up the preferences dialog box or click on the preferences tab. ( The one that looks like a wheel ). Then click on plugins on the left side and then press on Edit VST Folders box and browse to where these VST's are located on your computer and add them to yo...

Re: Waves Plugins not loading in MC7 pro
Hey Jeff, I had some older Waves plugins that worked in MC6 and when I updated to 7 they stopped working. They would only come up with a blank black screen. I did some research on the net and most people said it had to do with the graphics driver. My graphics driver was already up to date. I never u...

Re: The Vocoder Thread
From everything I read on the website this is a standalone effect, not a vst effect. It will not show up inside of Mixcraft. To use it with mixcraft you will have to mix your track down to a WAV file and then run it through the vocoder and then take the output WAV file from the vocoder and insert ba...

Did not know this! I seen the lock but figured it was for locking the automation track so it could not be changed. Thanks.

Re: Mixer advice needed
BTW, I see that Behringer has two new control surfaces called X-touch and X-touch compact. Sweetwater shows prices at $599 and $399 respectively. They have also announced 2 midi keyboard controllers (Motor 49 and Motor 61) both of which have motorized faders. I don't think any of these new products...

Re: Mixer advice needed
The only thing I wish it had is "motorized" faders. Barry What's up Barry? Yeah, motorized faders would be cool! Also eight rotary encoders to control VST effects. But then they would charge an arm and leg for it. Have you ever got your F1 thru 5 buttons to work in controller mode? I have...

Re: Mixer advice needed
Sorry to say you are wrong. I own the R16. The output they are talking about is monitor not USB outs. Right now I have a guitar hooked up to Channel 2 going through a line 6 Pod HD,a guitar going into channel three through a Boss GT-001 and I Have a bass going into channel 8 dry. Also a mic going i...

[quote="Mark Bliss"]Yeah, I'm all ears and interested if I am wrong, (and readily admit I know little about the USB small format mixers) But every one I have researched says one stereo out via USB only. For example, the previously mentioned Zoom- " 8-track simultaneous recording, audi...

Re: Yamaha DTX M12 Playback?
More Info! If the drivers are installed, you can select it as an input on a track and select a VSTi such as Acoustica Studio drums and it should play the sounds. Let us know what you have done so far and the knowledgeable people here will help.
