Thanks chibear and Greg.
I think I'll leave well enough alone since everything works. Y'all confirmed what I was thinking.

Upgrading of VST's
Hey Y'all. I don't recall seeing this addressed before so here goes. Occasionally, Mixcraft issues an upgrade (for example build 266 to 267). When this is done, are any of the native plugins (for example VB3) ever upgraded also? Or, is upgrading of the native plugins left up to each user? Since purc...

Re: Turn down every track's volume at once?
Hey Y'all - not trying to hijack the thread - just a comment. I have had this same situation. Someone mentioned "level creep". Boy howdy, that describes me to a T. Now the tricky part is to change your way of thinking from "Track x isnt loud enough" and pushing the slider up, to ...

Re: Problem updating to 266
Thanks Greg, giving it a try now.

E D I T: Yep, that worked. Now both 32 bit and 64 bit Pro are now build 267.
(Now if I could just learn how to play, sing, record, mix, etc.)

Re: Problem updating to 266
Hi, For pro studio, download from the link in your registration email . Greg Hey Greg, I have both 32 bit and 64 bit of MC7 Pro currently installed. I still have my registration email from when I purchased and upgraded from MC6 Pro to MC7 Pro. Please refresh my memory. Do I un-install Mixcraft from...

Re: 32 bit vs 64 bit MX7
That being said, the industry is adopting 64 bit so fewer 32 bit versions of new VSTs are being released. I've been wondering about this myself. With what chibear said (above quote) it makes me think I should jump on the 64 bit platform because that seems to be the way the industry is headed. Howev...

Re: Zoom R24 driver crashing
Hey John (fredfish),
This may be a long shot, but, make sure your R24 has version 1.12 system software. This pops up on the Zoom screen when you turn it on. If I remember correctly it is a file found on your SD card.

Re: Zoom R24 driver crashing
Hey fredfish (John), Basically, I have the same setup as governmentmule (ZOOM R16 with a desktop running Windows 7, 64 bit, and MC 7 Pro Studio 32 bit and 64 bit) and have not experienced any crashes similar to yours. Sounds like it very well could be a AMD thing. Also, since you are relatively new ...

Re: just a thought
Good idea Gypsy.
I'm in too. I might suggest Tervis tumbler instead of regular glass. Tervis is made in such a way that it doesn't "sweat" (condensation).

Re: Converting MX6 Project Files to MX7
Hi Greg, Thanks for the response. Maybe the best strategy for you might be to leave the Mixcraft 6 projects in their old locations and, the first time you save in Mixcraft 7, save the new project file into the very same project folder. This will be a simpler approach in that nothing will be "mo...

Re: Converting MX6 Project Files to MX7
Hi Greg, Thanks for the reply. I have used the process that you mentioned on a few of my MC6 projects. I keep all projects and related files on my "D" drive. I have a folder named "MC6 Songs". Since I upgraded, I created a new folder named "MC7 Songs". After using the &...

Converting MX6 Project Files to MX7
Ok, official OFC moment here. I know I've seen this discussed but I just can't locate the thread. Anyway, I upgraded from MC6 Pro to MC7 Pro a while back, but, I haven't been able to record anything in MC7 yet due to other demands of my time (life). Anyway, I have several songs recorded in MC6 that ...

Re: 'double unison' vocals.....??
Hey Scythe, Not sure if this will answer your question or not, but here we go. I had a song that I had recorded and the vocals seemed weak (or thin). Rather than re-recording the vocals I decided to copy the vocal track to a new track, which ended up with two identical vocal tracks. Then, I shifted ...
