I've been using DVS drum sampler for creating my own kit. Works pretty well. Can create kits based on 16 bit waves, lots of them out there. Vintage snares, ambient noises, etc. http://www.dreamvortex.co.uk/instruments/

I use midi splitter. It's freeware. After creating midi track of full kit, copy track to new project. Save as midi file , open in midi splitter and it will create seperate track for each drum sound (note value). Save. I open that midi file in mixcraft, assign vst (you can use multiple kits), eq, pan...

I use video function on iphone. Captures idea, and guitar neck. You can then use the video as your scratch track on you project.

If I really need to reinstall...any cautionary steps to take
Started receiving the below pop-ups. Once I click past them Mixcraft seems to be fine, but I think I should reinstall. Any suggestions or cautionary steps I should take before reinstall?
