Re: Click Track?

Maybe I can help. :) What everyone is suggesting is that you just make a click track and you can do exactly what you are asking. It literally takes only a few seconds to do. And you won't have to use an external drum machine or anything other than Mixcraft. You can easily change the tempo in the pr...

Re: When recording sometimes, i get 2 tracks squashed into o

Hey all, Pretty new to this Mixcraft thing, its not rocket science but would love to know why when i stop/start record in the same Input it sometimes doubles up and squashes another waveform track into the same track? Is it because i am recording in 'Stereo' and not 'left' or 'right' mono? Or is th...

Re: Click Track?

Yes Greg, that’s it - and I’ve searched everywhere on MC6PS, so unless I missed it - I can’t use the playback metronome without playing back something - correct?

It’s not that big of a deal, I can work around it and I still love MC6PS. :D

Re: Click Track?

Create your own. Make a track with just a sticks beat, loop it, and adjust the tempo as you see fit. You can use the same track, and adjust the tempo as you want. Yes, I could do that, but the old fashion way (read thread) is quicker and the whole idea was to speed up the process while wearing two ...

Re: Click Track?

Hi, Mixcraft 6 gives you the option of a playback metronome or a recording metronome. http://www.acoustica.com/images/forum-images/metronome.png Or, using the method that Squeakie mentioned, you can just drag out the end of the clip to loop it, or repeatedly click the little loop button in the uppe...

Not exactly what I was hoping for - but, thank you.

Re: Click Track?

Hmm, I was hoping I could audition metronome tempos faster/easier before tracking - oh well, thank you. I think your original question was misunderstood. And it still isnt real clear to me what you want to do. Do you want to just "play" a metronome/click to practice along with? I’m sorry ...

Re: Switching off track markers

Hi Greg, I see what you are getting at. I was crashing in with a double-click and using the transport cursor to line up my edit, whereas if I single click, which I just tried doing, a marker will provide the vertical line I require without causing the 'New Marker' box to pop up. I just got done spe...

Click Track?

Is there a way to practice/play along with the metronome without having to record? I'm using MC6PS. Thanks, Joe.

Re: Burning a CD with MC6PS question.

I’ll click on the link and check it out now - thank you very much. EDIT: Okay, I found this in the manual link given, but being a new MC user and not having used the Markers yet, I’m not really sure what it all means (yet) and unless I have to, I really don’t want to waste CD-R’s to find out. Is the...

Burning a CD with MC6PS question.

I recorded a live 50 minute show with MC6PS (one long stereo track) and I want to burn a CD using MC6PS. I used split to separate the long recording into individual songs/clips and titled each with track numbers (1-13) and song names. Problem: When I burned a CD, it was just one long stereo track - ...

Re: Missing MSVCR90.dll file in Mixcraft

Hi, That error means that something Mixcraft is trying to load as a plugin wants MSVCR90.dll. It could be a plugin, or it could be some non-VST DLL file that happens to be in Mixcraft's VST search path. Go into your plug-ins preferences and make sure that all the folders you're searching have "...
