Re: Help needed with immediate problem or witn OBS Studio
Hi, For compatibility and OBS recording etc. , use Wave in Mixcraft for your audio output. I think you can get away with coreRT but I am 100% positive wave works. In OBS add the audio source that you are using as playback in mixcraft. OBS uses Windows mapping so if ASIO is used in another audio apli...

MC 10.1 Bld 584 Sine CC Drawing not working
Hello, When using the curve drawing tools for a MIDI clip, the Sine tool does not draw the continuous shape properly. The .gif shows how the sine is drawing the curve and then it is compared to how the triangle is drawing the curve. The Sine should be filling in with a sine shape but it only adds a ...

Re: MIDI CC Routing VSTi to VST effect doesn't work anymore
MC 10, closing MC and opening the project works with the controllers.
But again, saving a preset and then recalling it at another time doesn't recall the set controllers.

Re: MIDI CC Routing VSTi to VST effect doesn't work anymore
I just tested it for a project - the MIDI controllers remained when reloading the project - so it works there.
I tested saving a preset on an effect - it doesn't work there. The controllers are not saved as part of the preset.

Re: MIDI CC Routing VSTi to VST effect doesn't work anymore
Hi Just chiming in: Wasn't part of the original request or problem that the addable controllers from an Effect or an instrument didn't retain their CC settings when the project or mixcraft was closed? So if you set up a series of presets that routed or controlled certain instrument or effect paramet...

Re: Running Mixcraft 10.1 build 584 in Linux
Sorry for bumping my own thread but hopefully this helps someone considering putting in the time to run Mixcraft in wine on linux. Here's the thing, though Mixcraft itself works pretty well running through wine on linux, not everything else meant for windows will. All of my isotope plugins fail and ...

Re: Running Mixcraft 10.1 build 584 in Linux
Here's my assessment, though maybe a bit premature but this covers my general experience with Linux and I have been using it for years: Mixcraft works - generally. My Audio interface works - generally. They both do not function at the same level as they do in Windows; but they function and I can rec...

Re: Running Mixcraft 10.1 build 584 in Linux
So far most VSTs seem to work copied over to Linux. I think I'll have to reinstall some through wine as the copied version are missing settings and license verification etc. Though I want to be careful of multiple installs so I don't run into licensing troubles. I've been able to load and playback t...

Running Mixcraft 10.1 build 584 in Linux
Hi, I originally was creating a long winded detailed post about how I've been trying to move from Windows to Linux 100% but always stopped by needing certain Windows applications or hardware and the ease of use of Windows. Well, I didn't want to give up Mixcraft - that was something that held me bac...

Re: I want to put TX16WX sampler in Mixcraft 10 but I don't see any VST folder in my program
There may be a folder on your computer that reads C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins If there is no installer, you might want to place your dll file in there. Once the dll file is in there, open mixcraft, open the directory where you put the dll file, then drag and drop the dll onto a track in Mixcraft. Mi...

Re: microphone front and rear of combo
Make sure you actually end up with a phase issue that actually seems like an issue or you may put in efforts you don't need to. Are you using two mics? Two tracks (front and back)? Hard pan each left and right and use a stereo widener on each. Use the volume fader to balance out the levels. Pretty s...

and another note on clasical composition: You can use musescore for free. You can compose or transcribe complete and complex classical scores if you want. This can all be dumped to MIDI for use in Mixcraft.

Re: Importing Sound Files
Hi, First, ripping a CD means extracting the individual tracks as individual playable audio files. It doesn't mean creating an image of the disk or extracting CD ready files. An image or raw cda file is not a recognizable playable file . The ripping program should have file format options to rip the...
