Re: Stand alone VSTi question

One more thing with Reaktor: if the patch is tempo based you have to have the DAW playback running to hear any sound.

For these types of patches with a new project in Mixcraft, I have to drop in a blank clip and hit play before I can hear any sound out of Reaktor.

Re: Stand alone VSTi question

I have no problem playing sounds in Reaktor5 in Mixcraft 6. It works with both an M-Audio Oxygen49 USB keyboard and an old Roland XP-60 keyboard with an M-Audio UNO MIDI to USB cable. What version of Reaktor are you using? Have you tried multiple patches in Reaktor? What kind of interface and keyboa...

Re: Exporting whole project to .wav (help)

Hi pengh, Greg suggested the sample rate of 44.1 kHz because some plugins don't play nice when mixing to wav at higher sample rates. You most likely have an offending plugin. Can you take one song and disable plugins one at a time and see if you can find a culprit? Start with plugins on the Master f...

Re: Bought 60 day trial and it has run out already??

Hi Steph,

To protect your privacy, it is best if you submit an Acoustica Support Request for this kind of issue.

fredfish, there is a 60 day license available for Mixcraft 6. That's probably what Steph has.

Re: Vocal Recording Popping and Hissing

Hi,

Are you using the latest drivers for the AudioBox?

There was a known click/pop issue prior to v1.2.1, and some fixes for some USB 3.0 ports with v1.2.2 - although there are apparently still some problems with AudioBox and some USB 3.0 ports in some computers.

Re: Multiple Video Tracks?

You're right, Mixcraft only allows one video track. Editing multiple takes can become very tedious with only one track - kind of like in the old days with physical film - but it can be done. Frankly, you need dedicated video editing software if you want a smoother workflow than Mixcraft's one track ...

Re: How do I adjust note volocity in sound schroll

You are correct. It can be done! :) I am assuming you are working with a virtual instrument clip in Mixcraft 6. It's simple, actually. Click on "Midi Editing" then choose "Velocities..." Click on "Force To" and set your value. Make sure the "All" button is sel...

I can't believe there isn't one in MC6's.
Most of the Drum Kits have a hand clap at Eb2 - midi note number 39. :)

Hi evrardo,

Change the tempo under the Project tab and it will play the way you want with your tracks:

Re: Mixcraft and Saffire pro 40 - Newbie question

Hi Mark, Welcome to Mixcraft and the Forum! :) You're right - it's fairly simple and straightforward. Mixcraft is correctly revealing the channels that the Saffire is showing. Here's how it will break down for you: For track 1 (your vocal mic), you choose "Left" from the "Saffire IP1/...
