Re: Changing Bitrates in Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 (ASIO)
Hi Mark. Thanks very much for the input. Correct i.e. the "32-bit" is in the Mixcraft GUI. What you say makes sense given that the M-Audio 2X2M 's (it's actually an M-Track 2X2M) own driver does not present an option to change the bitrate in its own GUI. You wouldn't happen to know if ther...

Changing Bitrates in Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 (ASIO)
Hi. Where does one change the bitrate in Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 e.g. from 32-bit to 24-bit to 16-bit for an ASIO device??? I noticed last night that no matter what sample rate I select: the bitrate remains at 32-bit. This cannot be because the M-Audio is rated for a maximum of 192kHz / 24-bit yet whe...

Re: Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 System (CPU) Utilisation
Hello again. System % is what I'm talking about. It's not too serious though. Really. I just know to look at the System % when I first open Mixcraft. If it's elevated (in my case not hovering between 0% and 1%) then I know I may have "drama" so I simply exit Mixcraft and open it again. As ...

Re: Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 System (CPU) Utilisation
Hello. I'm looking at the "System" CPU Utilisation within Mixcraft (which of course always agrees with the CPU Utilisation in WIndows' Task Manager). The "Mixcraft" CPU Utilisation within Mixcraft does the same thing (but to a far lesser extent). Note that this is without any plu...

Mixcraft Pro Studio 8 System (CPU) Utilisation
Hi. Given that I'm busy posting about other stuff I figured I may as well post about this issue (been meaning to do it for a while now) (and this in not one that I'm going to be able to answer myself I don't think): I've noticed (and managed to test / replicate without fail) the following: Most time...

Re: Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit) and IK Multimedia Total Studio MAX
Hi. Apologies i.e. I see this (above) is an old post (and I only noticed it now while I was posting somewhere else on the forum). To begin with (in answer to my original query on this thread) I've subsequently figured out that the VST3 instruments are the 64-bit instruments and the VST instruments a...

Re: MIDI Out from Mixcraft Pro Studio
Once again: my apologies!!! I figured out the channels too. Sorry: as I've not taken delivery of the MIDI controller as yet (actually it's a MIDI to DMX converter to control intelligent lightning and other DMX equipment) it's a bit difficult to test but the functionality appears to be all there in M...

Re: MIDI Out from Mixcraft Pro Studio
Oops. Sorry. I think I've just answered my own post (yet again). Please correct me if I'm wrong but it would appear that it's as simple as inserting a Virtual Instrument Track and then selecting the external MIDI controller as it appears in "External MIDI Devices" as a Virtual Instrument??...

MIDI Out from Mixcraft Pro Studio
Hi. I've looked around for some answers to this (both here and in the Internet) but I've not found a definitive, simple, and clear answer anywhere: I need to record a separate MIDI track (using a MIDI keyboard) and upon playback I need only this additional MIDI track to be output to an external MIDI...

Re: Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit) and IK Multimedia Total Studio MAX
Hello. Thanks mick. Definitely not going to bother with that i.e. my other queries are more important. I have to say though: Mixcraft is fantastic i.e. save for my own stupidity as above I was practically up and running within minutes really. That's pretty darn good in my opinion and says a lot for ...

Re: Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit) and IK Multimedia Total Studio MAX
Hi. Replying to my own post (with "egg on my face" I might add)!!! There is a teeny little button called "Edit" in the Instruments section of the screen once you have selected your VSTi Instrument (Sample Tank 3 for example). Once clicked: the Sample Tank 3 (for example) dialog b...

Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit) and IK Multimedia Total Studio MAX
Hi. I have just purchased and installed both Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64-bit) and IK Multimedia's Total Studio MAX (only 64-bit versions available). The install was on a new, "clean", notebook with nothing else installed other than the latest Microsoft Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) patches and upda...
