Re: Mixcraft project settings - inconsistant save methods

Hey Greg. Hi, If you want to create a new project folder with all the associated audio files, use "Copy Project Files to..." from the File menu, don't use "save as." "Save as..." just renames the project file, as mentioned. That might be a good feature request: having t...

Re: Mixcraft project settings - inconsistant save methods

Well maybe. But I've found this extremely confusing myself. Be far easier if both "Save" and "Save As" behaved exactly the same way i.e. if you choose "Save As" then it should make an exact duplicate of the original (folders, audio files, everything). Had this issue jus...

Re: USB Interface Recommendations

I thought I'd just update Mr. Behringer's thread with this that just came down the wires:

Sure does look nice. And knowing IK: should be a darn good interface. A little too short on the number of inputs and outputs for me unfortunately.

Re: Melodyne extract audio to MIDI video

Thanks Mark. Guess I'll have to keep looking and watching these inane tutorials then (already beyond the point of it having been quicker to create the MIDI drum track manually). It's the only video I have ever seen where a proper, full, audio track was being manipulated this as opposed to these dumb...

Re: Melodyne extract audio to MIDI video

Hi. Sorry. My bad. It would have been Melodyne Studio. I remember clearly because it was my main reason for upgrading to Melodyne Studio (at the time anyway). Sad part is that I actually went through the video and the steps and extracted the drum track back then. But I cannot for the life of me reme...

Melodyne extract audio to MIDI video

I ask this out of sheer desperation!!! Last year at or around April I saw a video on YouTube where somebody was extracting a drum beat from an audio file and converting it to MIDI using Melodyne. I have now spent days looking for this video but cannot find it. But before commenting see the below i.e...

Re: Has anyone used Waves InPhase with Mixcraft?

Hmmmnnn... It would seem that whenever I slag off a Waves plugin I end up eating my words (their VU Meter STILL being the exception though!!! LOL!!!). Thanks to your initial post I thought lemme take a look at what you were on about i.e. about sidechaining with this plugin. Well turns out: by using ...

Re: Has anyone used Waves InPhase with Mixcraft?

Hello. I have Waves' InPhase. Not sure I've ever accomplished anything worthwhile with it though. Only way I've used it (and don't know if there's another way): Slap it onto a (stereo) track, hit play, and then click on the little "Capture" switch at the bottom of the plugin. That captures...

Well which version did you buy or upgrade too???

If you only have the Melodyne that came bundles with Mixcraft then it's the "Essentials" version.

I don't have an answer but I do have a question for you: DId this problem by any remote chance start after updating Mixcraft to this latest build (or any build since the VERY STABLE 413 build)??? And yeh: YouTube and SoundCloud are REALLY starting to pi*s me off. There's absolutely no standard or ru...

Re: How To Get Mixcraft To Recognize Plugins With The Same Internal ID?

Allow me!!! LOL!!! My problem is that Mixcraft will not allow me to select, from any of the dropdown menus, the same dropdown menus used throughout (for VST instruments and FX etc.), anything but the first instance of an identical MIDI controller (which in my case just happens to be my amps.). In ot...

Re: 440 to 432

Interesting links Mr. Bliss.

Fortunately for me (and for everyone else around here I expect) I am all “rabbit holed out” (at least for this year!!! LOL!!!) i.e. this just the kind of thing that could distract me for yet another few months at least.
