Re: Mixcraft bundle

Dunno about a reduced upgrade price i.e. it's cheap enough as it is. But it's a good idea. I for one am sick and tired of seeing "the usual suspects" being punted by the various manufacturers. Mixcraft too should be "mainstream" by now.

Dale.

Re: Using Mixcraft performance panel to cue backing tracks live?

Hello. Yesterday, my girlfriend did a private show in a small local venue. Really glad you went on to clarify further!!! LOL!!! Personally I'd say that you are overthinking this!!! LOL!!! Thanks to your post I went to go have a little look at that QLab software. Not half bad for cuing backing tracks...

Re: Potential problem with instrument GUIs in version 415

We're gonna be on 8.2 Build 1 before you know it (I assume that's what happens when we get to 8.1 Build 999???) LOL!!! Dying to try it but what does this mean: Please note - If you are using a licensed Pro Studio 8 and need the update, please contact betazoid@acoustica.com. That I shouldn't try it b...

Re: im unhappy with this program

To be honest the title and context of your post leaves me wondering if you are seeking help or just venting.
You and me both.

All that in a new member's first post??? Nah. Think he works for Avid or something. LOL!!!

Re: Multiple controllers with MixCraft-8..??

Hello. Nope. Same thing. I can only select the first one in the list of External MIDI Devices. Try to select the second or third instance and the cursor/selection bar immediately jumps back to the first instance (appears as though it doesn't even attempt to query the second or third device as it hap...

Re: Multiple controllers with MixCraft-8..??

Hello. I don't think it's the amps. but I cannot test. I did ask before if somebody could attach two identical MIDI devices to Mixcraft to test but nobody was interested in trying (or didn't have two identical MIDI devices). For what it's worth though: I'm not the only one that has such a requiremen...

Re: Multiple controllers with MixCraft-8..??

TRUST ME!!! LOL!!! I have multiple Marshall CODE amps. that can be controlled via USB MIDI. I can plug as many of them in as I like and Mixcraft actually sees/recognises them all but will only allow you to select the FIRST one displayed in any list. In other words: if I plug three amps. in Mixcraft ...

Re: Multiple controllers with MixCraft-8..??

Yeh.

It should be fine because they're actually different devices.

To be clear: Mixcraft does NOT (yet???) recognise multiple MIDI devices from the same manufacturer with the same name and/or identifier. It's a problem at this point in time unfortunately.

Dale.

Oh you mean like multiple MIDI devices with the same name and identifier??? Or mix down to 176.4kHz??? That type of thing???

Haven't tested them yet.

(Joking with ya).

Re: Potential problem with instrument GUIs in version 415

Hi. Just by the way: Further to my first post above on this topic this is what happens with some of the Melda plugins i.e. the bottoms are chopped off. As noted: this doesn't happen with Build 413 as tested yesterday. Just posting as I'm hoping that whatever fix is being worked on is related: Melda ...

Re: Potential problem with instrument GUIs in version 415

Hmmmnnn... Glad I checked in here this morning!!! I had the same issue with some Melda plugins yesterday but I thought it was Melda because there was a Melda update late last week which I installed but didn't check or test until yesterday. Apparently not Melda. Regards, Dale. P.S. For what it's wort...
