Dragging to repeat MIDI clip question
After programming a 1-bar drum pattern in the drum editor I then drag the clip to repeat to the length of the song. I then edit accordingly (fills etc.). Any edit I make affects every copy unless I split both ends of the actual copy that I want to edit. So is there a way of dragging the original 1-b...

Re: Waves Tune
I've used Waves Tune for years with Cubase but despite dozens of attempts I've never been able to get it to work properly with Mixcraft. I did mention the problem years ago on the forum and was told that Mixcraft only works as a Rewire host, not as a slave. Also, as far as I know, Mixcraft is not of...

Re: Surf Guitar?
The starting point has to be your guitar. DD used frighteningly heavy strings: .016 --> .060, admittedly tuned down a whole tone. Then I'd look for an Fender-style amp sim (I'd give the good old SimulAnalog Rednef Twin a go - it's free after all). Then find a spring reverb plugin to insert before th...

Plugin List
I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn't find anything.
Once I have my plugins sorted into Collections I don't need the main plugin list below - is there a way of removing it?
Thanks in advance

ToneBoosters now legacy?
I've just visited the ToneBoosters site looking for a manual for the plugins included with Mixcraft Pro and was surprised to discover that they are now listed as Legacy products! Both the Track Essentials and Bus Tools bundles have been discontinued. So, as they're no longer available from ToneBoost...
Re: Icons
Solved: I was running both 32 and 64-bit versions of Mixcraft Pro to compare performance. Decided to go with the 32-bit so uninstalled the 64-bit version. That's when it happened. I took it as a sign - getting the green "light". I swear I'm getting more done now....
Icons
No idea what I've done but all my .mx9 file icons have mysteriously changed colour from red to green. No stopping me now...

Re: A couple of questions
Thankyou both for your input - my system is definitely "marginal in that area" so vst2 it is from now on. As far as vst3 reliability It's odd that Steinberg's own products have the choice to toggle processing suspension - didn't they come up with vst3?

Re: A couple of questions
Thanks for your input Rolling Estonian - I've looked at the various advantages of VST3 and it's mostly complex stuff that I wouldn't need, but if performance can be improved by using VST3 I'm all for it, hence my question. If Mixcraft doesn't suspend processing then for me a it's no-brainer: use vst...

A couple of questions
1) Regarding VST 3, Cubase has the option to suspend plug-in processing when no audio signals are received. According to the manual "this can improve system performance noticeably". I can't find that option in Mixcraft so is it done automatically or not at all? 2) Is there any downside to ...
