Re: What components are most relevant to performance

Hi, A fast computer with 4 GB or more of RAM, of course. Mixcraft can also process more than one thing at once if your computer has multiple processors, so multi-core is definitely a plus. A fast hard drive is important for recording. A 7200 RPM speed hard drive would be nice, Keep looking at those...

What components are most relevant to performance

My laptop is getting on in years and I'm looking to upgrade. Also I definitely need a bigger screen ( I'm getting on in years too ! ) I like the All-In-One style but find most seem to be under-powered and mostly for general usage. Though there are a few 'gamer' models out there, but I'm not sure if ...

Re: How can I force a note to be part of the Treble staff?

The notation capability to me is the worst part of Mixcraft. I honestly don't think it's meant for anything but to help with composing using midi. I'd like to see this addressed at some point. As it is a music program, the musical aspects should be addressed and perfected before moving on to video ...

Re: Separate settings for 64bit / 32bit versions of M7

Thanks for your replies guys.... Can you name the file with the plugins something else instead of the defaults that MC looks in? Like VSTplugins32 for example then have MC look there? And yes, 64 bit plugs won't work in MC 32 bit but the 32 will work in the 64. There's also the possibility that some...

Separate settings for 64bit / 32bit versions of M7

I noticed when I make certain changes in preferences to one it also changes the other. For example, I set up 2 sets of VST folders on my HD. One for 32bit VSTs and one for 64. I started up the 64 bit version of M7 and under preferences/VST I added the path to the 64 bit VSTs. However it seems that t...

Re: How well do ToonTrack and M7 play together ?

I really wish they had deals like that more often. Now if that were the case we'd never be able to get away from our PCs.... There's more I want. And Its a little silly, but I really want the pipe organ expansion. It sounds so cool! Yes that organ does sound great. I have my eye on that Mello...

Re: How well do ToonTrack and M7 play together ?

What's really great about the Small Upright deal is the fact that it's the Full EZKeys package (normally $149). You can get started with this one, and then (since you have the software engine) buy only the expansions from then on... Yes exactly Jon, since it was the full package I couldn't resist. ...

Re: How well do ToonTrack and M7 play together ?

I am a big fan. (Just picked up the small upright deal from Sweetwater last weekend, plus four other expansion etc titles. BTW. Yay!) No problems in using any of them in Mixcraft to date, and I began collecting items from them for a few years, way back in the early EZD1 days. I think it was the fir...

Re: How well do ToonTrack and M7 play together ?

BTW, if you're interested EZKeys is going for $36 US.... That's the price directly from Toontrack. Sweetwater and others have it for $29 USD. Also, that's only for the Small Upright EZKeys. The other models are currently $59. Got it, thanks for the clarification Jon. Yes I am looking to pick up the...

Re: How well do ToonTrack and M7 play together ?

I have EZD2 and it works flawlessly with MC. I love it too, one of the best software purchases I've made. Toontracks policy is that you can have up to 4 total authorizations (2 active) and you can only use one at a time. M Good to know thanks RE ! 4 authorizations ? Then if I load 2 on my 2 home PC...
