Re: Drum MIDI Exports As Piano?
For a simple way to see what is assigned to your midi use Van Basco's player.
http://vanbasco.com/
Better than using WMP, you can at least see some detail what's playing.

Re: Drum MIDI Exports As Piano?
Hi Have you set the drum track to Channel 10 ? Select the Drum track then go to Piano Roll. Select all Notes (Ctrl-A),all events of the drum track should be highlighted. Open drop down event list (most often the label defaults to Velocity on) and you will see Program change, Bank Select etc. etc . C...

Re: Drop-down menus are hiding...
This is not an issue with my computer, as I am not having this error with any other program - and plenty of programs use drop-down menus. That excuse is invalid. As someone who has been writing & maintaining a comercial software package since the early 1990's I have heard the above statement on...

Re: Izotope
John I use many Izotope plugins and never had a single problem, and don't forget you already have a great Izotope plugin the comes with Mixcraft pro - Mastering Essentials, a good one shot fix providing you don't over the top with some of the included presets.

Re: Mixer/Mixing Console
I for one would never buy any item, let alone a guitar, nor want to play one just because it looked good! Does it play well, does it sound the bees knees. These reasons are far more important in my world. The same goes for Mixcraft - does it do what it says on the tin ? it does yes, and that's what ...

Re: vst3 plugins does not get listet | Wish for the future: vst-plugins sortet after format/architecture
Not quite so in my experience, I have all my vsts in custom folders for vst32, vst64, vst3 etc. Most DAWs, including Mixcraft, won't use VST3 plugins that are located anywhere else.
As long as you include the path to your folders in the plugins manager I can see no problem where you put them.

Re: Warning : Elevate Mastering Software only outputs Mono Master
Ian, here is the problem as described on the Eventide forum posted on 8 October.. New version 1.05 released on 10 October. reported VST3 sums both inputs to mono, output channels L/R carry the same signal VST2 works as expected, no summing. repsonse "It turns out I released the VST3 version wit...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
VST locations. Not sure if this has ever been broached in the past but I think it extremely useful, to help keep everything in order, if the vst manager had a right click option to show the location of listed vst's, very much like operating systems have a right click to display properties (& lo...

Re: How to copy clips to a new project?
Hi Geoff. In Mixcraft 8 would it not be as easy to use "mix selected tracks down to stems" and make sure no boxes are ticked under "audio Options". ? This would provide you with tracks to import into your new project with all the effects, automation etc. Ok so you will have to sp...

Re: Studio Devil Virtual Bass Amp breaks when trying to mix-down half of the time
Did anything ever transpire with this issue, I too find it will crash 7 out of 10 times when mixing down to any format. Using Pro Studio 8 build 396.
Stopped using it in Pro 7 for the same reason.

Re: AAC
I'm with Erik, would love to be able to drop as many formats as possible into Mixcraft but particularly AAC. I agree Greg that Ogg Vorbis is a decent format but the modern devices to play it are in a minority, at least it seems that way to me. In my home we have four smart TV's, all will play Mp3 &a...
