Re: punch in/out recording question
Oh right, yes that works, but even that's a bit long winded for such a simple task.LeesKeys wrote:Well, I simply followed the instructions this time. Works for midi and acoustic tracks!

Re: Recording Midi Note Numbers From VST?
Hi, Mixcraft doesn't have a built-in option to record the MIDI output of a virtual instrument. A workaround might be to install a MIDI loopback utility like LoopMIDI or LoopBe, then set the output of Tonespace to go to the loopback utility. Finally, arm a virtual instrument track for the loopback u...

Re: punch in/out recording question
Thanks, the video was helpful but I'm still not getting this working. If I select "take" or "replace" as my recording option, the track is automatically muted. The only way I seem to able to hear the track is to select "overdub", which is not what I want. https://photo...

Re: Can I record additional notes on an existing midi clip?
Hi Bill
Have a look at this video. It's a little old but still applicable to MX 7or 8. You can merge tracks, and record into what Mixcraft calls Lanes.

Re: MC7 PS audio does not reopen after save
Thanks! Will try when I sit at the computer today. Results will be posted. I forgot to add, that when you do step 3, just click OK on all the boxes that pop up asking you to confirm you want to copy wav's to that folder, and also that you want the project to be opened from the new folder that you a...

That's a new one on me. I can't delete tracks full stop, using the delete button on my keyboard. The delete command is CTRL+SHIFT+D

Re: MC7 PS audio does not reopen after save
Try this: 1: Re-convert your wav's to wav's using Audacity. This way you can be sure there is nothing wrong with the format 2: Create a new project folder somewhere on your SSD 3: Go to Mixcraft Menu 'File/Copy project files To' (your folder in step 2 above) I apologise if you have already done this...
