Re: Plugins on monitor only
Not sure what you mean. If you are recording vocals to a track, only the vocals are recorded. The effects on the track only affect playback but don't change the recording. The recording is only combined with the effects "permanently" when the track and effects are mixed down to either anot...

Re: Mixdown to Track with SynthV issue
may not be a thing but: check if there is a background popup or something that is waiting for confirmation or acknowledgment that may be hidden behind mixcraft or another window.

Re: Recording multiple layers of guitar with effects in the performance panel
Are you saying that while recording a single channel (left or right) on a single track if you have track monitoring engaged, it plays out of both right and left during recording... not just the channel you are recording to? It could be your track recording setup. Make sure you are not using a single...

Re: Issues with importing sounds to library
...hmmm not necessarily if it is sorting dates by character. Because no mater what; anything that begins with a lower number will come first: 2022/10/17 2022/10/2 or 2022/12/25 2022/2/15 So it seems like it doesn't sort correctly and needs fixin' If single digits have a leading zero, then it would w...

Re: MC 10 requiring signon each time in Linux
Just to restate,
It's in Linux so there could be some network thing going on where maybe an inconsistent identifier or something is being sent. It's not a biggee as I don't use the Linux install too often for Mixcraft, but just wondered if something jumped out at anybody.

MC 10 requiring signon each time in Linux
Ok, I know Linux isn't supported, but maybe someone has an answer to this: I have a working install of MC 10 pro on Linux running though Wine. The problem is, when I shut down the computer, the next time I start MC, it comes up with the Buy It message on top and requires my account login. This works...

Re: Issues with importing sounds to library
looks like the date is being treated as text values. So 1/12 comes before 1/13 (regardless of what comes after) and 10/18 comes before 10/2

Re: Changing PC
If you bought a laptop, my assumption would be that windows was already preinstalled on it. As I this was stated earlier: you can't just copy over files to the new computer and expect everything to work. Unless you initially started by cloning your original computer onto the new computer, you have t...

Re: Is All Lost
Hi, Do you have the purchased ample guitar plugin or only the demo? If you own it, make sure it is up to date. When updating it, you may have to load the new sample set which requires a total install as opposed to just an update. If you are using a current update but an old sample set, it won't work...

Re: Changing PC
make sure to download the legacy stuff from the store. Many presets rely on the legacy bundle and may not appear if the bundle isn't loaded.

Re: Plugin list to notepad or other
Do you mean a list of VSTs installed on your computer or specifically loaded into Mixcraft that have been installed? For ALL VSTs stored on your computer, that could be tough if they are installed everywhere. If you look in the directories you know where vsts have been installed, you can do a comman...

Dude:
"We don't need that fancy recording studio with subdued lighting... " hahahaha!
That tickled me! subdued lighting
and to paraphrase: "...I want to venture that you don't need talent..." I love it! This is just joy in making music and recording. I'm in.

Re: Slate digital's Heatwave produces artifacts when playing.
My computer is about 9 years old and is an I7 4790K with 4 Gigaertz and 32 Gigs of Ram... I do a great deal of music recording and processing on an i7-3610QM @ 2.30GHz with 16 gigs of ram! So there isn't a clear answer to your question because there are many factors that contribute to the result an...
