Thanks, I'll check that. When I open preferences the only choice I have is Wave, the others will not allow me to open them. Don't have the problem with the laptop. Sounds like it's a pc problem?

Okay, I'm new to Mixcraft 6 and have made several recordings using my laptop with no real big issues.
