Re: High end PC stuttering and popping on playback with no FX
Hello, I have a PC with a Ryzen 3900x CPU, new SSD, and 32GB of ram. I am using the newest version of Mixcraft 9 Pro. I have an Audient iD44 interface. I loaded up a project with 114 tracks and no FX applied - my CPU doesn't hit more than 3% and system is about 5% but I still get a crazy amount of ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
I don't think this already exists, but I would love a way to bake effects into a track or clip inside of Mixcraft without needing to solo it and mix down. The primary use I would use it for would be to put a huge reverb on a clip then reverse it so it can be a reverse reverb swell. If that's alread...

Re: Kontakt not displaying properly through mixcraft 9
Hi,
Not sure what it is you are pointing at? Also, can you try making a clearer screenshot? This one is blurry and pixelated.
And sorry to ask, but are you new to Kontakt? What were you expecting that you don't see?

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
More diverse track color options. The current track color seem very lackluster and dull. Although they are very functional. It would be nice to have more color options for tracks. That would help differentiate much better some tracks from others, in addition to pleasant to look at. Is it possible t...

The only VST's that appear in the list after scanning are AbsynthFX and ReaktorFX (which I both never use as FX). Things that should have been found are a.o. Nomad Factory Blue Tubes, Kjaerhus Gold, Voxengo stuff, PSP plugins, and a couple of 100 others. Sorry to revive this, but doing a search sho...

Nomad Factory plugins Unable to load
Hi, is anyone using Nomad Factory plugins? I installed and authorize a bundle I bought last week (Magnetics II), it shows in the list of plugins as unable to load. Selecting them there causes me to restart Mixcraft, but it doesn't change the status. I sent an email to their support, but I'm wonderin...

Re: New forum members
Theres a couple of ways this could work. Simplest would be that upon joining, a "new member" is only allowed one post (instead of 54 like we just had occur) so that it can be determined they are not spammers etc. How we do it at https://vi-control.net/community/ , is that new members are ...

Re: Mixcraft Suggestions!
How about a solo button and a mute button in the MIDI editing view? It would help to work faster and compare immediately the result of changes made, without having to always leave the MIDI editing view to go to global view, and then back to MIDI editing, etc. There is room in a few places. :) mxcraf...

Re: How to send compressor to audio on trigger
Thank you, indeed very helpful VIDEO! I never understood these things before (side chain, pre-fader, etc) and didn't know what a submix was useful for. This video gave me at least a good staring point working knowledge.
Now to test it in real life.

Re: "Mix to new audio track" - keep effects separate?
Ah, and when the audio track is rendered, I can just ALT-drag the effects chain from the MIDI track onto the audio track? That would work.Acoustica Greg wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 9:33 am Hi,
You could bypass the effects before you mix to the new audio track.

"Mix to new audio track" - keep effects separate?
Hi, hope the answer is YES. :) So I'll be converting my MIDI tracks to AUDIO in order to work on a final mix of my song. However this "Mix to audio" seems to bake the effects in the audio file. I'd like to Mix to new audio track, while keeping the effects separate, so that I can still modi...

Re: Mixcraft included izotope mastering essentials - same as elements?
I'd go as far as to say that the izotopes elements line is far more current and useful, and while some might find it useful, the essentials package is quite dated. Simple answer- no, not the same at all. 8) but-wait.jpg ▼ ▼ gold.jpg ▼ I got this bundle a couple days ago for $49 USD. This is a great...

Re: Preferences/Sound Device: am I doing this right?
Thanks for the tip, Sturdy, yes, these are set to performance. I still think having too many virtual tracks is making it hard on the CPU (on THIS computer, Win 7). But certainly something to always keep in mind is what is the rest of the computer busy doing at the same time.
